And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded.
Pus hum ney inn say ziyadah zor aawaron ko tabah ker dala aur aglon ki misal guzar chuki hai.
अन्ततः हम ने उन को पकड़ में लेकर विनष्ट कर दिया जो उन से कहीं अधिक बलशाली थे। और पहले के लोगों की मिसाल गुज़र-चुकी है
And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?
Aur inn say pehlay bhi hum boht si ummaton ko halak ker chukay hain jo inn say taqat mein bohat ziyadah thi woh shehron mein dhondtay hi reh gaye, kay koi bhagney ka thikana hai?
उन से पहले हम कितनी ही नस्लों को विनष्ट कर चुके हैं। वे लोग शक्ति में उन से कहीं बढ़-चढ़कर थे। (पनाह की तलाश में) उन्होंने नगरों को छान मारा, कोई है भागने को ठिकाना?
