Or has He taken, out of what He has created, daughters and chosen you for [having] sons?
Kiya Allah Taalaa ney apni makhlooq mein say betiyan to khud rakh leen aur tumhen beton say nawaza.
(क्या किसी ने अल्लाह को इससे रोक दिया है कि वह अपने लिए बेटे चुनता) या जो कुछ वह पैदा करता है उस में से उस ने स्वयं ही अपने लिए तो बेटियाँ लीं और तुम्हें चुन लिया बेटों के लिए?
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
( Halankay ) inn mein say kissi ko jab uss cheez ki khabar di jaye jiss ki misal uss ney ( Allah ) rehman kay liye biyan ki hai to uss ka chehra siyah parr jata hai aur woh ghumgeen hojata hai.
और हाल यह है कि जब उन में से किसी को उस की मंगल सूचना दी जाती है, जो वह रहमान के लिए बयान करता है, तो उस के मुँह पर कलौंस छा जाती है और वह ग़म के मारे घुटा-घुटा रहने लगता है
So is one brought up in ornaments while being during conflict unevident [attributed to Allah ]?
Kiya ( Allah ki aulad larkiyan hain ) jo zewraat mein palen aur jhagray mein ( apni baat ) wazeh na ker saken?
और क्या वह जो आभूषणों में पले और वह जो वाद-विवाद और झगड़े में खुल न पाए (ऐसी अबला को अल्लाह की सन्तान घोषित करते हो)?
And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.
Aur enhon ney farishton ko jo rehman kay ibadat guzaar hain aurten qarar dey liya. Kiya unn ki pedaeesh kay moqay per yeh mojood thay? Inn ki yeh gawahee likh li jayegi aur inn say ( iss cheez ki ) baaz purs ki jayegi.
उन्होंने फ़रिश्तों को, जो रहमान के बन्दे हैं, स्त्रियाँ ठहरा ली हैं। क्या वे उन की संरचना के समय मौजूद थे? उन की गवाही लिख ली जाएगी और उन से पूछ होगी
