And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
Aur hum ney yahudiyon kay zimmay toraat mein yeh baat muqarrar ker di thi kay jaan kay badlay jaan aur aankh kay badlay aankh aur naak kay badlay naak aur kaan kay badlay kaan aur daant kay badlay daant aur khaas zakhmon ka bhi badla hai phri jo shaks iss ko moaf ker dey to woh iss kay liye kuffara hai aur jo log Allah kay nazil kiye huye kay mutabiq hukum na keren wohi log zalim hain.
और हमने इस किताब में लिख दिया है कि जान के बदले जान और आँख के बदले आँख और नाक के बदले नाक और कान के बदले कान और दाँत के बदले दाँत और ज़ख़्मों का बदला उनके बराबर होगा, फिर जिसने उसको माफ़ कर दिया तो वह उसके लिए कफ़्फ़ारा है, और जो शख़्स उसके मुताबिक़ फ़ैसला न करे जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है तो वही लोग ज़ालिम हैं।
And We wrote for him on the tablets [something] of all things - instruction and explanation for all things, [saying], "Take them with determination and order your people to take the best of it. I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient."
Aur hum ney chand takhtiyon per her qisam ki naseehat aur her cheez ki tafseel unn ko likh ker di tum inn ko poori qooat say pakar lo aur apni qom ko hukum kero kay inn kay achay achay ehkaam per amal keren abb boht jald tum logon ko inn bey hukmon ka muqam dikhlata hun.
और हमने उसके लिए तख़्तियों पर हर क़िस्म की नसीहत और हर चीज़ की तफ़सील लिख दी, पस उसको मज़बूती से पकड़ो और अपनी क़ौम को हुक्म दो कि उनके सही मतलब की पैरवी करें, मैं बहुत जल्द तुमको नाफ़रमानों का ठिकाना दिखाऊँगा।
