And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing forcefully, proceeding by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And We are ever, of all things, Knowing.
Hum ney tund-o-tez hawa ko suleman ( alh-e-salam ) kay tabey ker diya jo uss kay farmaan kay mutabiq uss zamin ki taraf chalti thi jahan hum ney barkat dey rakhi thi aur hum her cheez say ba-khabar aur dana hain.
और सुलैमान के लिए हम ने तेज वायु को वशीभूत कर दिया था, जो उस के आदेश से उस भूभाग की ओर चलती थी जिसे हम ने बरकत दी थी। हम तो हर चीज़ का ज्ञान रखते हैं
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
Aur hum ney suleman kay liye hawa ko musakkhar ker diya kay subah ki manzil uss ki maheena bhar ki hoti thi aur shaam ki manzil bhi aur hum ney unn kay liye taanbay ka chashma baha diya. Aur uss kay rab kay hukum say baaz jinnat uss ki ma-tehati mein uss kay samney kaam kertay thay aur inn mein say jo bhi humaray hukum say sirtabi keray hum ussay bharakti hui aag kay azab ka maza chakhayen gay.
और सुलैमान के लिए वायु को वशीभुत कर दिया था। प्रातः समय उस का चलना एक महीने की राह तक और सायंकाल को उस का चलना एक महीने की राह तक - और हम ने उस के लिए पिघले हुए ताँबे का स्रोत बहा दिया - और जिन्नों में से भी कुछ को (उस के वशीभूत कर दिया था,) जो अपने रब की अनुज्ञा से उस के आगे काम करते थे। (हमारा आदेश था,) "उन में से जो हमारे हुक्म से फिरेगा उसे हम भडकती आग का मज़ा चखाएँगे।"
