Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
Her shaks apney amal kay badlay mein girwi hay
प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जो कुछ उस ने कमाया उस के बदले रेहन (गिरवी) है,
Except the companions of the right,
Magar daein hath walay
सिवाय दाएँ वालों के
[Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other
Kay wo baheshton mein ( bethay hoy ) , gunehgaron say Sawal kertay hongay
वे बाग़ों में होंगे, पूछ-ताछ कर रहे होंगे
[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?"
Tumhein dozakh mein kis chez ney dala
"तुम्हे क्या चीज़ सक़र (जहन्नम) में ले आई?"
They will say, "We were not of those who prayed,
Wo jawab deingay kay hum namazi na thy
वे कहेंगे, "हम नमाज़ अदा करने वालों में से न थे।
Nor did we used to feed the poor.
Na miskeeno ko khana khilatay thy
और न हम मुहताज को खाना खिलाते थे
And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it],
Aur hum bhas kernay waly ( inkarion ) ka sath dy ker bhas mubahisa mein mashghol raha kertay thy
"और व्यर्थ बात और कठ-हुज्जती में पड़े रहने वालों के साथ हम भी उसी में लगे रहते थे।
And we used to deny the Day of Recompense
Aur roz e jaza ko jhutlatay thy
और हम बदला दिए जाने के दिन को झुठलाते थे,
Until there came to us the certainty."
Yahan tak kay humein mot agai
"यहाँ तक कि विश्वसनीय चीज़ (प्रलय-दिवस) ने हमें आ लिया।"
So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors.
Pus inhein sifarish kernay walon ki sifarish nafa na dy gi
अतः सिफ़ारिश करने वालों को कोई सिफ़ारिश उन को कुछ लाभ न पहुँचा सकेगी
