And even if We had sent down to you, [O Muhammad], a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would say, "This is not but obvious magic."
Aur agar hum kaghaz per likha hua koi navishta aap per nazil farmatay phir uss ko yeh log apney haathon say chu bhi letay tab bhi yeh kafir log yeh kehtay kay yeh kuch bhi nahi magar sareeh jadoo hai.
और अगर हम आप पर ऐसी किताब उतारते जो काग़ज़ में लिखी हुई होती और वे उसको अपने हाथों से छू भी लेते तब भी इनकार करने वाले यह कहते कि यह तो एक खुला हुआ जादू है।
And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?" But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved.
Aur yeh log yun kehtay hain kay inn kay pass koi farishta kiyon nahi utara gaya aur agar hum koi farishat bhej detay to sara qissa hi khatam ho jata. Phir inn ko zara mohlat na di jati.
और वे कहते हैं कि उस पर कोई फ़रिश्ता क्यों नहीं उतारा गया, और अगर हम कोई फ़रिश्ता उतारते तो मामले का फ़ैसला हो जाता फिर उन्हें कोई मोहलत न मिलती।
And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves.
Aur agar hum iss ko farishta tajveez kertay to hum uss ko aadmi hi banatay aur huamray iss fail say phir inn per wohi ashkaal hota jo abb ashkaal ker rahey hain.
और अगर हम किसी फ़रिश्ते को रसूल बनाकर भेजते तो उसको भी आदमी बनाते और उनको उसी शुब्हे में डाल देते जिसमें वह अब पड़े हुए हैं।
And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.
Aur waqaee aap say pehlay jo payghumbar huye hain unn kay sath bhi istehzaa kiya gaya hai. Phir jin logon ney unn say mazaq kiya tha unn ko uss azab ney aa ghera jiss kay tamaskhur uratay thay.
और आपसे पहले भी रसूलों का मज़ाक़ उड़ाया गया तो उनमें से जिन लोगों ने मज़ाक़ उड़ाया उनको उस चीज़ ने आ घेरा जिसका वह मज़ाक़ उड़ाते थे।
Say, "Travel through the land; then observe how was the end of the deniers."
Aap farma dijiye kay zara zamin mein chalo phiro phir dekh lo kay takzeeb kerney walon ka kiya anjam hua.
(ऐ नबी) आप कह दीजिए कि ज़मीन में चलो-फिरो और देखो कि झुठलाने वालों का अंजाम क्या हुआ।
