Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
Aap kehdijiye! Kay mein subha ky Rab ki panah mein aata hun
कहो, "मैं शरण लेता हूँ, प्रकट करने वाले रब की,
From the evil of that which He created
Her uss cheez ky shar say jo uss nay paida ki hai.
जो कुछ भी उस ने पैदा किया उस की बुराई से,
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
Aur andheri raat ki tareki kay shar say jab uska andhera phel jaye.
और अँधेरे की बुराई से जबकि वह घुस आए,
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
Aur girah ( laga ker inn ) mein phonknay walon kay sher say ( bhi ) .
और गाँठो में फूँक मारने-वालों की बुराई से,
And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Aur hasad kerney waly ki burai say bhi jab wo hasad karey.
और ईर्ष्यालु की बुराई से, जब वह ईर्ष्या करे।"
