Phir yeh firqay aapas mein ikhtilaf kerney lagay pus kafiron kay liye “wail” hai aik baray ( sakht ) din ki hazri hai.
किन्तु उन में कितने ही गिरोहों ने पारस्परिक वैमनस्य के कारण विभेद किया, तो जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया उन के लिए बड़ी तबाही है एक बड़े दिन की उपस्थिति से
They think the companies have not [yet] withdrawn. And if the companies should come [again], they would wish they were in the desert among the bedouins, inquiring [from afar] about your news. And if they should be among you, they would not fight except for a little.
Samjhtay hain kay abb tak lashkar chalay aur agar fojen aajayen to tamannayen kertay hain kay kaash! Woh sehra mein badiya nashiniyon kay sath hotay kay tumhari khabren daryaft kiya kertay agar woh tum mein mojood hotay ( to bhi kiya? ) na lartay magar baraye naam.
वे समझ रहे हैं कि (शत्रु के) सैन्य दल अभी गए नहीं हैं, और यदि वे गिरोह फिर आ जाएँ तो वे चाहेंगे कि किसी प्रकार बाहर (मरुस्थल में) बद्दुओं के साथ हो रहें और वहीं से तुम्हारे बारे में समाचार पूछते रहे। और यदि वे तुम्हारे साथ होते भी तो लड़ाई में हिस्सा थोड़े ही लेते
And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.
Aur samood ney aur qom-e-loot ney aur aeeka kay rehney walon ney bhi yehi ( baray ) lashkar thay.
और समूद और लूत की क़ौम और 'ऐकावाले' भी, ये हैं वे दल
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
Phir ( bani-israeel ki ) jamaton ney aapas mein ikhtilaf kiya pus zalimon kay liye kharabi hai dukh walay din ki aafat say.
किन्तु उन में के कितने ही गिरोहों ने आपस में विभेद किया। अतः तबाही है एक दुखद दिन की यातना से, उन लोगों के लिए जिन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया
