To Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error [i.e. futility].
Ussi ko pukarna haq hai. Jo log auron ko iss kay siwa pukartay hain woh unn ( ki pukar ) ka kuch bhi jawab nahi detay magar jaisay koi shaks apney dono hath pani ki taraf phelaye huye ho kay uss kay mun mein parr jaye halankay woh pani uss kay mun mein phonchney wala nahi inn munkiron ki jitni pukar hai sab gumrahi mein hai.
उसी को पुकारना हक़ है, जो लोग औरों को उसके सिवा पुकारते हैं वे उन (की पुकार) का कुछ भी जवाब नहीं देते मगर जैसे कोई शख़्स अपने दोनों हाथ पानी की तरफ़ फैलाए हुए हो कि वह उसके मुँह में पड़ जाए; हालाँकि वह पानी कभी उसके मुँह में पहुँचने वाला नहीं, उन मुनकिरों की जितनी पुकार है सब गुमराही में है।
Say, "Invoke those you have claimed [as gods] besides Him, for they do not possess the [ability for] removal of adversity from you or [for its] transfer [to someone else]."
Keh dijiye kay Allah kay siwa jinhen tum mabood samajh rahey ho unhen pukaro lekin na to woh tum say kissi takleef ko door ker saktay hain aur na badal saktay hain.
कह दीजिए कि उनको पुकारो जिनको तुमने अल्लाह के सिवा माबूद समझ रखा है, वे न तुमसे किसी मुसीबत को दूर करने का इख़्तियार रखते हैं और न उसको बदल सकते हैं।
If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters].
Agar tum enhen pukaro to woh tumhari pukar suntay hi nahi aur agar ( bil-farz ) sunn bhi len to faryad rasi nahi keren gay bulkay qayamat kay din tumharay iss shirk ka saaf inkar ker jayen gay. Aap ko koi bhi haq-taalaa jaisa khabardaar khabren na deyga.
यदि तुम उन्हें पुकारो तो वे तुम्हारी पुकार सुनेंगे नहीं। और यदि वे सुनते तो भी तुम्हारी याचना स्वीकार न कर सकते और क़ियामत के दिन वे तुम्हारे साझी ठहराने का इनकार कर देंगे। पूरी ख़बर रखने वाला (अल्लाह) की तरह तुम्हें कोई न बताएगा
Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful.
Waqaee tum Allah ko chor ker jin ki ibadat kertay ho woh bhi tum hi jaisay banday hain so tum unn ko pukaro phir unn ko chahaiye kay tumhara kehna ker den agar tum sachay ho.
जिनको तुम अल्लाह के सिवा पुकारते हो वे तुम्हारे ही जैसे बंदे हैं, पस तुम उनको पुकारो फिर वे तुम्हें जवाब दें अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
