الؔم

Alif, Lam, Meem.

ہاں جو لوگ اس کے بعد توبہ اور اصلاح کرلیں تو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا اور مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

Except for those who repent thereafter and reform, for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

بیشک اس میں یقیناً نشانی ہے اور ان میں کے اکثر لوگ مومن نہیں ہیں ۔

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

پیغمبر مومنوں پر خود ان سے بھی زیادہ حق رکھنے والے ہیں اور پیغمبر کی بیویاں مومنوں کی مائیں ہیں اور رشتہ دار کتاب اللہ کی رو سے بہ نسبت دوسرے مومنوں اور مہاجروں کے آپس میں زیادہ حقدار ہیں ( ہاں ) مگر یہ کہ تم اپنے دوستوں کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنا چاہو یہ حکم کتاب ( الٰہی ) میں لکھا ہوا ہے ۔

The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.

جب منافق کہہ رہے تھے اور وہ بھی جن کے دلوں میں روگ تھا کہ انہیں تو ان کے دین نے دھوکے میں ڈال دیا ہے جو بھی اللہ پر بھروسہ کرے اللہ تعالٰی بلا شک و شبہ غلبے والا اور حکمت والا ہے ۔

[Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allah - then indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
