So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza?
Kiya tum ney laat aur uzza ko dekha.
तो क्या तुम ने लात और उज़्ज़ा
And Manat, the third - the other one?
Aur manaat teesray pichlay ko.
और तीसरी एक और (देवी) मनात पर विचार किया?
Is the male for you and for Him the female?
Kiya tumharay liye larkay aur ALLAH kay liye larkiya hain?
क्या तुम्हारे लिए तो बेटे हैं और उन के लिए बेटियाँ?
That, then, is an unjust division.
Yeh to abb bari beyinsafi ki taqseem hai.
तब तो यह बहुत बेढ़ंगा और अन्यायपूर्ण बँटवारा हुआ!
They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance.
DAR-asal yeh sirf naam hain jo tum ney aur tumharay baap dadon ney inkay rakh liye hain Allah ney inki koi daleel nahi utaari yeh log to sirf atkal kay aur apni nafsaani khuwaishon kay peechay paray huye hain aur yaqeenan unkay rab ki taraf say unkay pass hidayat aa chuki hai.
वे तो बस कुछ नाम है जो तुम ने और तुम्हारे बाप-दादा ने रख लिए हैं। अल्लाह ने उन के लिए कोई सनद नहीं उतारी। वे तो केवल अटकल के पीछे चले रहे हैं और उन के पीछे जो उन के मन की इच्छा होती है। हालाँकि उन के पास उन के रब की ओर से मार्गदर्शन आ चुका है
