So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that disappear."
Phir jab raat ki tareeki unn per cha gaee to unhon ney aik sitara dekha aap ney farmaya kay yeh mera rab hai magar jab woh ghuroob hogaya to aap ney farmaya kay mein ghuroob ho janey walon say mohabbat nahi rakhta.
फिर जब रात ने उन पर अंधेरा कर दिया तो उन्होंने एक तारे को देखा, कहा कि यह मेरा रब है, फिर जब वह डूब गया तो उन्होंने कहा कि मैं डूब जाने वालों को दोस्त नहीं रखता।
And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.
Aur inn kay liye aik nishani raat hai jiss say hum din ko kheench latay detay hain to yakayak andheray mein reh jatay hain.
और एक निशानी उन के लिए रात है। हम उस पर से दिन को खींच लेते हैं। फिर क्या देखते हैं कि वे अँधेरे में रह गए
It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.
Na aftab ki yeh majal hai kay chand ko pakray aur na raat din per aagay barh janey wali hai aur sab kay sab aasman mein tertay phirtay hain.
न सूर्य ही से हो सकता है कि चाँद को जा पकड़े और न रात दिन से आगे बढ़ सकती है। सब एक-एक कक्षा में तैर रहे हैं
And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah , who created them, if it should be Him that you worship.
Aur din raat aur sooraj chand bhi ( ussi ki ) nishaniyon mien say hain tum sooraj ko sajdah na kero na chand ko bulkay sajdah uss Allah kay liye kero jiss ney inn sab ko peda kiya hai agar tumhen ussi ki ibadat kerni hai to.
रात और दिन और सूर्य और चन्द्रमा उस की निशानियों में से हैं। तुम न तो सूर्य को सजदा करो और न चन्द्रमा को, बल्कि अल्लाह को सजदा करो जिस ने उन्हें पैदा किया, यदि तुम उसी की बन्दगी करने वाले हो
