There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Deen kay baray mein koi zabardasti nahi hodayat zalalat say roshan ho chuki hai iss liye jo shaks Allah Taalaa kay siwa doosray maboodon ka inkar ker kay Allah Taalaa per eman laye uss ney mazboot karay ko thaam liya jo kabhi na tootay ga aur Allah Taalaa sunney wala janney wala hai.
दीन के मामले में कोई ज़बरदस्ती नहीं, हिदायत अलग हो चुकी है गुमराही से, पस जिस शख़्स ने शैतान का इनकार किया और अल्लाह पर ईमान लाया उसने मज़बूत हल्क़ा पकड़ लिया जो टूटने वाला नहीं, और अल्लाह सुनने वाला, जानने वाला है।
I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness, they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is because they have denied Our signs and they were heedless of them.
Mein aisay logon ko apney ehkaam say bar-gashta hi rakhon ga jo duniya mein takabbur kertay hain jiss ka unn ko koi haq hasil nahi aur agar tamam nishaniyan dekh len tab bhi woh inn per eman na layen aur agar hidayat ka raasta dekhen to iss ko apna tareeqa na banayen aur agar gumrahi ka raasta dekh len to iss ko apna tareeq bana len. Yeh iss sabab say hai kay enhon ney humari aayaton ko jhutlaya aur inn say ghafil rahey.
मैं अपनी निशानियों से उन लोगों को फेर दूँगा जो ज़मीन में नाहक़ घमंड करते हैं, और अगर वे हर क़िस्म की निशानियाँ देख लें तब भी उन पर ईमान न लाएं, और अगर वे हिदायत का रास्ता देखें तो उसको न अपनाएंगे, और अगर गुमराही का रास्ता देखें तो उसको अपना लेंगे, यह इस वजह से है कि उन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया और वे उनकी तरफ़ से ग़ाफ़िल रहे।
But their brothers - the devils increase them in error; then they do not stop short.
Aur jo shetan kay tabey hain woh inn ko gumrahi mein kheenchay ley jatay hain pus woh baaz nahi aatay.
और जो शैतान के भाई हैं वे उनको गुमराही में खींचे चले जाते हैं फिर वे कमी नहीं करते।
