Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.
Allah noor hai aasmanon ka aur zamin ka uss kay noor ki misal misil aik taaq kay hai jiss mein chiragh ho aur chiragh seeshay ki qandeel mein ho aur seesha misil chamaktay huye roshan sitaray kay ho woh chiragh aik ba-barkat darakht zaitoon kay tel say jalaya jata ho jo darakht na mashriqi hai na maghribi khud woh tel qareeb hai kay aap hi roshni denay lagay agarcheh ussay aag na bhi chuye noor per noor hai Allah Taalaa apnay noor ki taraf rehnumaee kerta hai jissay chahaye logon ( kay samjhaney ) ko yeh misalen Allah Taalaa biyan farma raha hai aur Allah Taalaa her cheez kay haal say bakhoobi waqif hai.
अल्लाह आकाशों और धरती का प्रकाश है। (मोमिन के दिल में) उस के प्रकाश की मिसाल ऐसी है जैसे एक ताक़ है, जिस में एक चिराग़ है - वह चिराग़ एक फ़ानूस में है। वह फ़ानूस ऐसा है मानो चमकता हुआ कोई तारा है। - वह चिराग़ ज़ैतून के एक बरकत वाले वृक्ष के तेल से जलाया जाता है, जो न पूर्वी है न पश्चिमी। उस का तेल आप ही आप भड़का पड़ता है, यद्यपि आग उसे न भी छुए। प्रकाश पर प्रकाश! - अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है अपने प्रकाश के प्राप्त होने का मार्ग दिखा देता है। अल्लाह लोगों के लिए मिसालें प्रस्तुत करता है। अल्लाह तो हर चीज़ जानता है।
[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.
Woh baghaat mein humesha rehney kay jin mein yeh log dakhil hongay sonay kay kanggan aur moti pehnaye jawen gay. Aur poshak unn ki wahan resham ki ki hogi.
सदैव रहने के बाग हैं, जिनमें वे प्रवेश करेंगे। वहाँ उन्हें सोने के कंगनों और मोती से आभूषित किया जाएगा। और वहाँ उन का वस्त्र रेशम होगा
There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.
Aur unkay gird unkay no-umer ghulam chal phir rahey hongey goya kay woh moti thay ji dhakay rakhay thay.
और उन की सेवा में सुरक्षित मोतियों के सदृश किशोर दौड़ते फिरते होंगे, जो ख़ास उन्हीं (की सेवा) के लिए होंगे
From both of them emerge pearl and coral.
Inn dono mein say miti aur mongey baraamad hotay hain.
उन (समुद्रों) से मोती और मूँगा निकलता है।
The likenesses of pearls well-protected,
Jo chupay huye motiyon ki tarah hain.
मानो छिपाए हुए मोती हो
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.
Aur inkay ird gird ghoomtey phirtay hongay wo kumsin bachay jo hamesha rehnay walay hein jab tu unhein dekhay to samjhay key wo bikhray hoey sachay moti hein
उन की सेवा में ऐसे किशोर दौड़ते रहे होंगे जो सदैव किशोर ही रहेंगे। जब तुम उन्हें देखोगे तो समझोगे कि बिखरे हुए मोती हैं
