And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason.
Aur khujoor aur angoor kay darakhton kay phalon say tum sharab bana letay ho aur umdah rozi bhi. Jo log aqal rakhtay hain unn kay liye to iss mein boht bari nishani hai.
और खजूर और अंगूर के फलों से भी, तुम उनसे नशे की चीज़ें भी बनाते हो और खाने की अच्छी चीज़ें भी, बेशक इसमें निशानी है उन लोगों के लिए जो अक़्ल रखते हैं।
They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, "In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit." And they ask you what they should spend. Say, "The excess [beyond needs]." Thus Allah makes clear to you the verses [of revelation] that you might give thought.
Log aap say sharab aur juye ka masla poochtay hain aap keh dijiye inn dono mein boht bara gunah hai aur logon ko iss say dunyawi faeeda bhi hota hai lekin inn ka gunah unn kay nafay say boht ziyada hai. Aap say yeh bhi daryaft kertay hain kay kiya kuch kharach keren? To aap keh dijiye hajat say zaeed cheez, Allah Taalaa issi taraf apney ehkaam saaf saaf tumharay liye biyan farma raha hai takay tum soch samajh sako.
लोग आपसे शराब और जुए के बारे में पूछते हैं, (ऐ नबी) कह दीजिए कि इन दोनों में बड़ा गुनाह है और लोगों के लिए कुछ फ़ायदे भी हैं, और उनका गुनाह बहुत ज़्यादा है उनके फ़ायदे से, और वे आपसे पूछते हैं कि क्या ख़र्च करें, कह दीजिए कि जो (अपनी) ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा हो, इस तरह अल्लाह तुम्हारे अहकाम को बयान करता है; ताकि तुम ध्यान करो।
On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe.
Jiss din tum ussay dekh lo gay her doodh pilaney wali apnay doodh peetay bachay ko bhool jayegi aur tamam hamal waliyon kay hamal girr jayen gay aur tu dekhay ga kay log madhosh dikhaee den gay halankay dar-haqeeqat who matwalay na hongay lekin Allah ka azab bara hi sakht hai.
जिस जिन तुम उसे देखोगे, हाल यह होगा कि प्रत्येक दूध पिलाने वाली अपने दूध पीते बच्चे को भूल जाएगी और प्रत्येक गर्भवती अपना गर्भभार रख देगी। और लोगों को तुम नशे में देखोगे, हालाँकि वे नशे में न होंगे, बल्कि अल्लाह की यातना है ही बड़ी कठोर चीज़
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
Uss jannat ki sift jiss ka perhezgaron say wada kiya gaya hai yeh hai kay uss mein pani ki nehren hain jo badboo kernay wala nahi aur doodh ki nehren hain jinka maza nahi badla aur sharab ki nehren hain jinn mein peenay walon kay liye bari lazzat hai aur nehren hain shehad ki jo boht saaf hain aur unn kay liye wahan her qisam kay meway hain aur unkay rab ki taraf say maghfirat hai kiya yeh misil iss kay hain jo hamesha aag mein rehnay wala hai? Aur jihen garam kholta hua pani pilaya jaye ga jo inn ki aanton kay tukray tukray ker dey ga.
उस जन्नत की शान, जिस का वादा डर रखने वालों से किया गया है, यह है कि ऐसे पानी की नहरें होगी जो प्रदूषित नहीं होता। और ऐसे दूध की नहरें होंगी जिस के स्वाद में तनिक भी अन्तर न आया होगा, और ऐसे पेय की नहरें होंगी जो पीने वालों के लिए मज़ा ही मज़ा होंगी, और साफ़-सुधरे शहद की नहरें भी होंगी। और उन के लिए वहाँ हर प्रकार के फल होंगे और क्षमा उन के अपने रब की ओर से - क्या वे उन जैसे हो सकते हैं, जो सदैव आग में रहने वाले हैं और जिन्हें खौलता हुआ पानी पिलाया जाएगा, जो उन की आँतों को टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके रख देगा?
Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] for them there is forgiveness and great reward.
Allah Taalaa ka wada hai jo eman layen aur nek kaam keren unn kay liye wasee maghfirat aur boht bara ajar-o-sawab hai.
जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने नेक काम किए उनसे अल्लाह का वादा है कि उनके लिए बख़्शिश और बड़ा अज्र है।
