Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
Yaqeenan hum ney aap ki taraf issi tarah wahee ki hai jaisay kay nooh ( alh-e-salam ) aur inn kay baad walay nabiyon ki taraf ki aur hum ney wahee ki ibrahim aur isamail aur ishaq aur yaqoob aur unn ki aulad per aur essa aur ayub aur younus aur haroon aur suleman ki taraf. Aur hum ney dawood ( alh-e-salam ) ko zaboor ata farmaee.
हमने आप की तरफ़ वह्य भेजी है जिस तरह हमने नूह (अलै॰) और उनके बाद के नबियों की तरफ़ वह्य भेजी थी, और हमने वह्य भेजी थी इब्राहीम और इस्माईल और इसहाक़ और याक़ूब और औलादे-याक़ूब और ईसा और अय्यूब और यूनुस और हारून और सुलेमान (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) की तरफ़, और हमने दाऊद (अलै॰) को ज़बूर अता की।
And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.
6.84. Aur hum ney unn ko ishaq diya aur yaqoob her aik ko hum ney hidayat ki aur pehlay zamney mein hum ney nooh ko hidayat ki aur unn ki aulad mein say dawood ko aur suleman ko aur ayub ko aur yousuf ko aur musa ko aur haroon ko aur issi tarah hum nek kaam kerney walon ko jaza diya kertay hain.
और हमने इब्राहीम (अलै॰) को इसहाक़ और याक़ूब (अलैहिमस्सलाम) अता किए, हर एक को हमने हिदायत दी और नूह (अलै॰) को भी हमने हिदायत दी उससे पहले, और उसकी नस्ल में से दाऊद और सुलेमान और अय्यूब और यूसुफ़ और मूसा और हारून (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) को भी, और हम नेकूकारों को इसी तरह बदला देते हैं।
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field - when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement.
Aur dawood ( alh-e-salam ) aur suleman ( alh-e-salam ) ko yaad kijiye jabkay woh khet kay moamlay mein faisla ker rahey thay kay kuch logon ki bakriyan raat ko iss mein char chug gaee thin aur unn kay faislay mein hum mojood thay.
और दाऊद और सुलैमान पर भी हम ने कृपा-स्पष्ट की। याद करो जबकि वे दोनों खेती के एक झगड़े का निबटारा कर रहे थे, जब रात को कुछ लोगों की बकरियाँ उसे रौंद गई थीं। और उन का (क़ौम के लोगों का) फ़ैसला हमारे सामने था
And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, "Praise [is due] to Allah , who has favored us over many of His believing servants."
Aur hum ney yaqeenan dawood aur suleman ko ilm dey rakha thaaur dono ney kaha tareef uss Allah kay liye hai jiss ney humen apnay boht say eman daar bandon per fazeelat ata farmaee hai.
हम ने दाऊद और सुलैमान को बड़ा ज्ञान प्रदान किया था, (उन्होंने उस के महत्व को जाना) और उन दोनों ने कहा, "सारी प्रशंसा अल्लाह के लिए है, जिस ने हमें अपने बहुत-से ईमान वाले बन्दों के मुक़ाबले में श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की।"
