If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if disaster strikes you, they say, "We took our matter [in hand] before," and turn away while they are rejoicing.
Aap ko agar koi bhalaee mill jaye to unhen bura lagata hai aur koi buraee phonch jaye to yeh kehtay hain hum ney to apna moamla pehlay say hi durust ker liya tha phir to baray hi itratay huye lottay hain.
अगर आपको कोई अच्छाई पेश आती है तो उनको दुख होता है, और अगर आपको कोई मुसीबत पहुँचती है तो कहते हैं कि हमने पहले ही अपना बचाव कर लिया था और वे ख़ुश होकर लौटते हैं।
But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing.
Phir unhon ney khud ( hi ) apnay amar ( deen ) kay aapas mein tukray tukray ker liye her giroh jo kuch uss kay pass hai ussi per itra raha hai.
किन्तु उन्होंने स्वयं अपने मामले (धर्म) को परस्पर टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाला। हर गिरोह उसी पर खुश है, जो कुछ उस के पास है
[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.
Unn logon mein say jinhon ney apnay deen ko tukray tukray ker diya aur khud bhi giroh giroh hogaye her giroh uss cheez per jo uss kay pass hai magan hai.
उन लोगों में से जिन्होंने अपनी दीन (धर्म) को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर डाला और गिरोहों में बँट गए। हर गिरोह के पास जो कुछ है, उसी में मग्न है
