And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."
Aur hum ney keh diya kay aey aadam! Tum aur tumhari biwi jannat mein raho aur jahan kahin say chahao ba faraghat khao piyo lekin uss darakht kay qareeb na jana werna zalim hojao gay.
और हमने कहा, ऐ आदम! तुम और तुम्हारी बीवी दोनों जन्नत में रहो, और उसमें से खाओ जी भर के जहाँ से चाहो और उस दरख़्त के क़रीब मत जाना वर्ना तुम ज़ालिमों में से हो जाओगे।
But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."
Lekin shetan ney unn ko behka ker wahan say nikalwa hi diya aur hum ney keh diya kay utar jao! tum aik doosray kay dushman ho aur aik waqt-e-muqarrara tak tumharay liye zamin mein theharna aur faeeda uthana hai.
फिर शैतान ने उस दरख़्त के ज़रिए दोनों को लग़ज़िश में मुब्तला कर दिया और उनको उस (ऐश) से निकाल दिया जिसमें वे थे, और हमने कहाः तुम सब उतरो यहाँ से तुम एक-दूसरे के दुश्मन होगे, और तुम्हारे लिए ज़मीन में ठहरना और काम चलाना है एक मुद्दत तक।
And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant.
Aur inn ka qol lenay kay liye hum ney inn kay saron per toor pahaar laa khara ker diya aur enhen hukum diya kay sajda kertay huye darwazay mein jao aur yeh bhi farmaya kay haftay kay din mein tajawuz na kerna aur hum ney inn say sakht say sakht qol-o-qarar liye.
और हमने ऊपर कोहे-तूर को उठाया उनसे अहद लेने के वास्ते और हमने उनसे कहा कि दरवाज़े में से दाख़िल हो सर झुकाए हुए और उनसे कहा कि सनीचर के मामले में ज़्यादती न करना, और हमने उनसे मज़बूत अहद लिया।
They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ' Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.' "
Woh jawab dengey kay be-shak aaya tha lekin hum ney ussay jhutlaya aur hum ney kaha kay Allah taalaa ney kuch bhi naazil nahi farmaya tum boht bari gumrahi mein hi ho.
वे कहेंगे, "क्यों नहीं, अवश्य हमारे पास आया था, किन्तु हम ने झुठला दिया और कहा कि अल्लाह ने कुछ भी नहीं अवतरित किया। तुम तो बस एक बड़ी गुमराही में पड़े हुए हो।"
