Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allah is encompassing of the disbelievers.
Ya aasmani barsaat ki tarah jiss mein andheriyan aur garaj aur bijli ho maut ki darr say karakay ki waja say apni ungliyan apney kaanon mein daal letay hain. Aur Allah Taalaa kafiron ko gherney wala hai.
या फिर (उन मुनाफ़िक़ों की मिसाल ऐसी है) जैसे आसमान से बरसती एक बारिश हो, जिसमें अंधेरियाँ भी हों और गरज भी और चमक भी, वे कड़कों की आवाज़ पर मौत के ख़ौफ़ से अपनी उंगलियाँ अपने कानों में दे लेते हैं, और अल्लाह ने काफ़िरों को घेरे में ले रखा है।
Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts."
Agar aqal mand ho ( to ghor kero ) haan tum to enhen chahtay ho aur woh tum say mohabbat nahi rakhtay tum poori kitab ki mantay ho ( woh nahi mantay phir mohabbat kaisi? ) yeh tumharay samney to apney eman ka iqrar kertay hain lekin tanahi mein maaray gussay kay ungliyan chabatay hain kehdo kay apney gussay hi mein marr jao Allah Taalaa dilon kay raazon ko bakhoobi janta hai.
तुम उनसे मुहब्बत रखते हो मगर वे तुम से मुहब्बत नहीं रखते; हालाँकि तुम सब आसमानी किताबों को मानते हो, और जब वे तुम से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए, और जब आपस में मिलते हैं तो तुम पर ग़ुस्से से उंगलियाँ काटते हैं, आप कह दीजिए कि तुम अपने ग़ुस्से में मर जाओ, बेशक अल्लाह दिलों की बात को जानता है।
And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance.
Mein ney jab khabi unhein teri bakhsish kay liye bulaya unhon ney apni ungliyan apney kaano mein daal lein aur apney kapron ko orh liya aur urh gaye aur bara takabur kiya
"और जब भी मैंने उन्हें बुलाया, ताकि तू उन्हें क्षमा कर दे, तो उन्होंने अपने कानों में अपनी उँगलियाँ दे लीं और अपने कपड़ो से स्वयं को ढाँक लिया और अपनी हठ पर अड़ गए और बड़ा ही घमंड किया
Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
Han zaror kerengay hum to qadir hain kay usski por por tak durust kerdein
क्यों नहीं, हम उस की पोरों को ठीक-ठाक करने की सामर्थ्य रखते हैं
[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."
Uss waqt ko yaad kero jab kay aap ka rab farishton ko hukum deta tha kay mein tumhara sathi hun so tum eman walon ki himmar barhao mein abhi kuffaar kay dilon mein rob dalay deta hun so tum gardanon per maaro aur inn kay por por ko maaro.
जब आपके रब ने फ़रिश्तों को हुक्म भेजा कि मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ पस तुम ईमान वालों को जमाए रखो, मैं काफ़िरों के दिलों में रौब डाल दूँगा पस तुम गर्दनों के ऊपर मारो और उनकी उंगलियों के हर-हर जोड़ पर ज़र्ब लगाओ।
