Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से शुरू करता हूँ जो बड़ा मेहरबान निहायत रहम करने वाला है।
[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds -
Sab tareef Allah Taalaa kay liye hai jo tamam jahanon ka palney wala hai.
सब तारीफ़ अल्लाह के लिए है जो सारे जहान का मालिक है।
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Bara meharban nihayat reham kerney wala.
बहुत मेहरबान निहायत रहम करने वाला है।
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
Badlay kay din ( yani qayamat ) ka maalik hai.
इंसाफ़ के दिन का मालिक है।
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
Hum sirf teri hi ibadat kertay hain aur sirf tujh hi say madad chahatay hain.
हम तेरी ही इबादत करते हैं और तुझ ही से मदद चाहते हैं।
Guide us to the straight path -
Humen seedhi ( aur sachi ) raah dikha.
हमको सीधा रास्ता दिखा।
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor
Unn logon ki raah jin per tu ney inaam kiya
उन लोगों का रास्ता जिन पर तूने फ़ज़्ल किया।
not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
unn ka nahi jin per ghazab kiya gaya aur na gumrahon ka.
उनका रास्ता नहीं जिन पर तेरा ग़ज़ब हुआ, और न उन लोगों का रास्ता जो तेरे रास्ते से भटक गए।
