अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
Zeyadti ki chahat nay tumhein ghafil kerdia.
तुम्हें एक-दूसरे के मुक़ाबले में बहुतायत के प्रदर्शन और घमंड ने ग़फ़़लत में डाल रखा है,
Until you visit the graveyards.
Yahan tak kay tum qabastan ja phunchy.
यहाँ तक कि तुम क़ब्रिस्तानों में पहुँच गए
No! You are going to know.
Hergiz nahi tum unqareeb maloom kerlogay.
कुछ नहीं, तुम शीघ्र ही जान लोगे
Then no! You are going to know.
Hergiz nahi phir tumhein jald ilm hojaey ga.
फिर, कुछ नहीं, तुम्हें शीघ्र ही मालूम हो जाएगा -
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
Hergiz nahi ager tum yaqeeni tor per jan lo.
कुछ नहीं, अगर तुम विश्वसनीय ज्ञान के रूप में जान लो! (तो तुम धन-दौलत के पुजारी न बनो) -
You will surely see the Hellfire.
To be-shak tum jahanum dekhlogay.
अवश्य ही तुम भड़कती आग से दो-चार होगे
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
Aur tum ussy yaqeen ki aankh say dekhlogy
फिर सुनो, उसे अवश्य देखोगे इस दशा में कि वह यथावत विश्वास होगा
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
Phir uss din tum say zarror bil-zaroor nematon ka sawal hoga.
फिर निश्चय ही उस दिन तुम से नेमतों के बारे में पूछा जाएगा
