الفاظ ( وَقَالَتِ )

یہود کہتے ہیں کہ نصرانی حق پر نہیں اور نصرانی کہتے ہیں کہ یہودی حق پر نہیں ، حالانکہ یہ سب لوگ تورات پڑھتے ہیں ۔ اسی طرح ان ہی جیسی بات بے علم بھی کہتے ہیں قیامت کے دن اللہ ان کے اس اختلاف کا فیصلہ ان کے درمیان کر دے گا ۔

The Jews say "The Christians have nothing [true] to stand on," and the Christians say, "The Jews have nothing to stand on," although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus the polytheists speak the same as their words. But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

یہود و نصاریٰ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ کے بیٹے اور اس کے دوست ہیں ، آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ پھر تمہیں تمہارے گناہوں کے باعث اللہ کیوں سزا دیتا ہے ؟ نہیں بلکہ تم بھی اس کی مخلوق میں سے ایک انسان ہو وہ جسے چاہتا ہے بخش دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے عذاب کرتا ہے زمین و آسمان اور ان کے درمیان کی ہرچیز اللہ تعالٰی کی ملکیت ہے اور اسی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے ۔

But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.

اور یہودیوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالٰی کے ہاتھ بندھے ہوئے ہیں انہی کے ہاتھ بندھے ہوئے ہیں اور ان کے اس قول کی وجہ سے ان پر لعنت کی گئی ، بلکہ اللہ تعالٰی کے دونوں ہاتھ کھلے ہوئے ہیں جس طرح چاہتا ہے خرچ کرتا ہے اور جو کچھ تیری طرف تیرے رب کی جانب سے اتارا جاتا ہے وہ ان میں سے اکثر کو تو سرکشی اور کفر میں اور بڑھا دیتا ہے اور ہم نے ان میں آپس میں ہی قیامت تک کے لئے عداوت اور بغض ڈال دیا ہے ، جب کبھی لڑائی کی آگ کو بھڑکانا چاہتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالٰی اسے بجھا دیتا ہے ۔ یہ ملک بھر میں شر اور فساد مچاتے پھرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی فسادیوں سے محبت نہیں کرتا ۔

And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.

یہود کہتے ہیں عزیر اللہ کا بیٹا ہے اور نصرانی کہتے ہیں مسیح اللہ کا بیٹا ہے یہ قول صرف ان کے منہ کی بات ہے ۔ اگلے منکروں کی بات کی یہ بھی نقل کرنے لگے اللہ انہیں غارت کرے وہ کیسے پلٹائے جاتے ہیں ۔

The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah ." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?

یہود کہتے ہیں عزیر اللہ کا بیٹا ہے اور نصرانی کہتے ہیں مسیح اللہ کا بیٹا ہے یہ قول صرف ان کے منہ کی بات ہے ۔ اگلے منکروں کی بات کی یہ بھی نقل کرنے لگے اللہ انہیں غارت کرے وہ کیسے پلٹائے جاتے ہیں ۔

اور فرعون کی بیوی نے کہا یہ تو میری اور تیری آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک ہے ، اسے قتل نہ کرو بہت ممکن ہے کہ یہ ہمیں کوئی فائدہ پہنچائے یا ہم اسے اپنا ہی بیٹا بنالیں اور یہ لوگ شعور ہی نہیں رکھتے تھے ۔

And the wife of Pharaoh said, "[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not.
