And the people of the city came rejoicing.
Aur shehar walay khushiyan manatay huye aaye.
और शहर के लोग ख़ुश होकर आए।
The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible."
Jiss din yeh farishton ko dekh len gay uss din inn gunehgaron ko koi khushi na hogi aur kahen gay yeh mehroom hi mehroom kiye gaye.
जिस दिन वे फ़रिश्तों को देखेंगे उस दिन अपराधियों के लिए कोई ख़ुशख़बरी न होगी और वे पुकार उठेंगे, "पनाह! पनाह!!"
And the wife of Pharaoh said, "[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not.
Aur firaon ki biwi ney kaha kay yeh to teri aur meri aankhon ki thandak hai issay qatal na kero boht mumkin hai kay yeh humen koi faeeda phonchaye ya hum issay apna hi beta bana len aur yeh log shaoor hi na rakhtay thay.
फ़िरऔन की स्त्री ने कहा, "यह मेरी और तुम्हारी आँखों की ठंडक है। इस की हत्या न करो, कदाचित यह हमें लाभ पहुँचाए या हम इसे अपना बेटा ही बना लें।" और वे (परिणाम से) बेख़बर थे
On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."
Jiss din baaz chehray safaid hongay aur baaz siyah, siyah chehray walon ( say kaha jayega ) kay kiya tum ney eman laney kay baad kufur kiya? Abb apney kufur ka azab chakho.
जिस दिन कुछ चेहरे रौशन होंगे और कुछ चेहरे काले होंगे, तो जिनके चेहरे काले होंगे उनसे कहा जाएगा कि क्या तुम अपने ईमान के बाद काफ़िर हो गए, तो अब चखो अज़ाब अपने कुफ़्र की वजह से।
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.
Koi nafs nahi janta jo kuch hum ney unn ki aankhon ki thandak unn kay liye posheeda ker rakhi hai jo kuch kertay thay yeh uss ka badla hai.
फिर कोई प्राणी नहीं जानता आँखों की जो ठंडक उस के लिए छिपा रखी गई है उस के बदले में देने के ध्येय से जो वे करते रहे होंगे
So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness
Pus inhen Allah Taala ney uss din ki buraee say bacha liya aur inhen taazgi aur khushi phonchaee
अतः अल्लाह ने उस दिन की बुराई से बचा लिया और उन्हें ताज़गी और ख़ुशी प्रदान की,
Laughing, rejoicing at good news.
Jo hansty hoy aur hashshash bashshash hongay
हँसते, प्रफुल्लित
And return to his people in happiness.
Aur wo apney ehal ki taraf hansi khushi lot ayega
और वह अपने लोगों की ओर ख़ुश-ख़ुश पलटेगा
