Ussi ney aasman ko buland kiya aur ussi ney tarazoo rakhi.
उस ने आकाश को ऊँचा किया और संतुलन स्थापित किया -
That you not transgress within the balance.
Takay tum tolnay mein tajawuzz na kero .
कि तुम भी तुला में सीमा का उल्लंघन न करो
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
Insaf kay sath wazan ko theek rakho aur tol mein kum na do.
न्याय के साथ ठीक-ठीक तौलो और तौल में कमी न करो। -
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.
Aur ussi ney makhlooq kay liye zameen bichadi.
और धरती को उस ने सृष्ट प्राणियों के लिए बनाया;
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
Jiss mein meway hain aur khoshay walay khajoor kay darakht hain.
उस में स्वादिष्ट फल हैं और खजूर के वृक्ष हैं, जिन के फल आवरणों में लिपटे हुए हैं,
And grain having husks and scented plants.
Aur bhuss wala anaj hai aur khushboodar phool hain.
और भुसवाले अनाज भी और सुगंधित बेल-बूटा भी
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Pus ( aey insano aur jinno! ) tum apney perwerdigaar ki kiss kiss nemat ko jhutlao gey.
तो तुम दोनों अपने रब की अनुकम्पाओं में से किस-किस को झुठलाओगे?
