And the brothers of Joseph came [seeking food], and they entered upon him; and he recognized them, but he was to them unknown.
Yousuf kay bhai aaye aur yousuf kay pass gaye to uss ney unhen pehchan liya aur unhon ney ussay na pehchana.
और यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) के भाई (मिस्र) आए फिर उसके पास पहुँचे, पस यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने उनको पहचान लिया और उन्होंने यूसुफ़ को नहीं पहचाना।
And when he had furnished them with their supplies, he said, "Bring me a brother of yours from your father. Do not you see that I give full measure and that I am the best of accommodators?
Jab unhen unn ka asbaab muhayya ker diya to kaha kay tum meray pass apney uss bhai ko bhi lana j tumharay baap say hai kiya tum ney nahi dekha kay mein poora naap ker deta hun aur mein hun bhi behtareen maizbaani kerney walon mein.
और जब उसने उनका सामान तैयार कर दिया तो कहा कि अपने सौतेले भाई को भी मेरे पास ले आना, तुम देखते नहीं हो कि मैं ग़ल्ला भी पूरा नाप कर देता हूँ और मैं बेहतरीन मेज़बानी करने वाला भी हूँ।
But if you do not bring him to me, no measure will there be [hereafter] for you from me, nor will you approach me."
Pus agar tum ussay ley ker pass na aaye to meri taraf say tumhen koi naap bhi na milay bulkay tum meray qarib bhi na phatakna.
और अगर तुम उसको मेरे पास न लाए तो न मेरे पास तुम्हारे लिए ग़ल्ला है और न तुम मेरे पास आना।
They said, "We will attempt to dissuade his father from [keeping] him, and indeed, we will do [it]."
Unhon ney kaha acha hum uss kay baap ko uss ki babat phuslayen gay aur poori kosish keren gay.
उन्होंने कहा कि हम उसके बारे में उसके वालिद को राज़ी करने की कोशिश करेंगे, और हमको यह काम करना है।
And [Joseph] said to his servants, "Put their merchandise into their saddlebags so they might recognize it when they have gone back to their people that perhaps they will [again] return."
Apney khidmat garon say kaha kay inn ki poonji enhi ki boriyon mein rakh do kay jab lot ker apney ehal-o-ayal mein jayen aur poonjiyon ko pehchan len to boht mumkin hai kay yeh phir lot ker aayen.
और उसने अपने नौकरों से कहा कि उनका माल उनकी बोरियों में रख दो; ताकि जब वे अपने घर को पहुँचें तो उसको पहचान लें, शायद वे फिर वापस आएं।
