So when they had despaired of him, they secluded themselves in private consultation. So I will never leave [this] land until my father permits me or Allah decides for me, and He is the best of judges.

जब वे उससे ना-उम्मीद हो गए तो अलग होकर आपस में मशवरा करने लगे, उनके बड़े ने कहाः क्या तुमको मालूम नहीं कि तुम्हारे वालिद ने तुमसे अल्लाह के नाम पर पक्का इक़रार लिया और इससे पहले यूसुफ़ के मामले में जो ज़्यादती तुम कर चुके हो वह भी तुमको मालूम है, पस मैं इस ज़मीन से हरगिज़ नहीं टलूँगा जब तक कि मेरे वालिद मुझे इजाज़त न दें या अल्लाह मेरे लिए कोई फ़ैसला न फ़रमा दे, और वह सबसे बेहतर फ़ैसला करने वाला है।
Return to your father and say, "O our father, indeed your son has stolen, and we did not testify except to what we knew. And we were not witnesses of the unseen,
Tum sab walid shab ki khidmat mein wapis jao aur kaho kay abba ji! Aap kay shabzaday ney chori ki aur hum ney wohi gawahi di thi jo hum jantay thay. Hum kuch ghaib ki hifazat kerney walay na thay.
तुम लोग अपने वालिद के पास जाओ और कहो कि ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! आपके बेटे ने चोरी की और हम वही बात कह रहे हैं जो हमको मालूम हुई, हम कुछ ग़ैब की हिफ़ाज़त करने वाले न थे।
And ask the city in which we were and the caravan in which we came - and indeed, we are truthful,"
Aap uss shehar kay logon say daryaft farma len jahan hum thay aur uss qafilay say bhi pooch len jiss kay sath hum aaye hain aur yaqeenan hum bilkul sachay hain.
और आप उस बस्ती के लोगों से पूछ लीजिए जहाँ हम थे और उस क़ाफ़िले से भी पूछ लीजिए जिसके साथ हम आए हैं, और हम बिल्कुल सच्चे हैं।
[Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them to me all together. Indeed it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise."
( Yaqoob alh-e-salam ney ) kaha yeh to nahi bulkay tum ney apni taraf say baat bana li pus abb sabar hi behtar hai. Qarib hai kay Allah Taalaa inn sab ko meray pass hi phoncha dey. Wohi ilm-o-hikmat wala hai.
वालिद ने कहाः बल्कि तुमने अपने दिल में एक बात बना ली है, पस मैं सब्र करूँगा, उम्मीद है कि अल्लाह उन सबको मेरे पास लाएगा, बेशक वही जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
