O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.
Aey eman walo! Adal-o-insaf per mazbooti say jamm janey walay aur khushnoodi-e-maula kay liye sachi gawahi denay walay bann jao go woh khud tumharay apney khilaf ho ya apney maa baap kay ya rishtay daar azizon kay woh shaks agar amir ho to aur faqir ho to dono kay sath Allah ko ziyada talluq hai iss liye tum khuwaish-e-nafss kay peechay parr ker insaf na chor dena aur gar tum ney kajj biyani ya pehloo tahi ki to jaan lo kay jo kuch tum kero gay Allah Taalaa poori tarah uss say ba khabar hai.
ऐ ईमान वालो! इंसाफ़ पर ख़ूब क़ायम रहने वाले और अल्लाह के लिए गवाही देने वाले बनो चाहे वे ख़ुद तुम्हारे या तुम्हारे माँ-बाप या रिश्तेदारों के ख़िलाफ़ ही हो, अगर कोई मालदार है या मुहताज है तो अल्लाह तुमसे ज़्यादा उन दोनों का ख़ैर-ख़्वाह है, पस तुम ख़्वाहिश की पैरवी न करो कि हक़ से हट जाओ, और अगर तुम बातें बनाओगे या मुँह फेर लोगे तो जो कुछ तुम कर रहे हो अल्लाह उस से बाख़बर है।
And those who believed after [the initial emigration] and emigrated and fought with you - they are of you. But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.
Aur jo log iss kay baad eman laye aur hijrat ki aur tumharay sath hoker jihad kiya. Pus yeh log bhi tum mein say hi hain aur rishtay naatay walay inn mein say baaz baaz ziyada nazdeek hain Allah kay hukum mein be-shak Allah Taalaa her cheez ka jannay wala hai.
और जो लोग बाद में ईमान लाए और हिजरत की और तुम्हारे साथ मिलकर जिहाद किया वे भी तुम में से हैं, और ख़ून के रिश्तेदार एक-दूसरे के ज़्यादा हक़दार हैं अल्लाह की किताब में, बेशक अल्लाह हर चीज़ का जानने वाला है।
Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein.
Phir hum unhen bhi khoob jantay hain jo jahannum kay dakhlay kay ziyada sazawaar hain.
फिर हम उन्हें भली-भाँति जानते हैं जो उस में झोंके जाने के सर्वाधिक योग्य हैं
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.
Payghumber momino per khud unn say bhi ziyada haq rakhney walay hain aur payghumber ki biwiyan momino ki maayen hain aur rishtay daar kitabullah ki roo say ba-nisbat doosray momino aur mohajiron kay aapas mein ziyada haq daar hain ( haan ) magar yeh kay tum apnay doston kay sath husn-e-salook kerna chahao. Yeh hukum kitab ( elahee ) mein likha hua hai.
नबी का हक़ ईमान वालों पर स्वयं उन के अपने प्राणों से बढ़कर है। और उस की पत्नियाँ उन की माएँ हैं। और अल्लाह के विधान के अनुसार सामान्य मोमिनों और मुहाजिरों की अपेक्षा नातेदार आपस में एक-दूसरे से अधिक निकट हैं। यह और बात है कि तुम अपने साथियों के साथ कोई भलाई करो। यह बात किताब में लिखी हुई है

अफ़सोस है तुझ पर और अफ़सोस है!
Then woe to you, and woe!
Waaye hai aur kharabi hay tery liye
फिर अफ़सोस है तुझ पर और अफ़सोस है!
