And if there was any qur'an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur'an], but to Allah belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of Allah . Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise.
Agar ( bil farz ) kissi quran ( aasmani kitab ) kay zariye pahar chala diye jatay ya zamin tukray tukray ker di jati ya murdon say baaten kerwa di jatin ( phir bhi woh eman na latay ) baat yeh hai kay sab kaam Allah kay hath mein hai to kiya eman walon ko iss baat per dil jamaee nahi kay agar Allah Taalaa chahaye to tamam logon ko hidayat dey dey. Kuffaar ko to inn kay kufur kay badlay hamesha hi koi na koi sakht saza phonchti rahey gi ya inn kay makano kay qarib nazil hoti rahey gi ta-waqt-e-kay wada-e-elahi aa phonchay. Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa wada khilafi nahi kerta.
और अगर ऐसा क़ुरआन उतरता जिससे पहाड़ चलने लगते या उससे ज़मीन टुकड़े हो जाती या उससे मुर्दे बोलने लगते (तब भी वे ईमान न लाते); बल्कि सारा इख़्तियार अल्लाह ही के लिए है, क्या ईमान लाने वालों को इससे इत्मीनान नहीं कि अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो सारे लोगों को हिदायत दे देता, और इनकार करने वालों पर कोई न कोई आफ़त आती रहती है उनके आमाल की वजह से या उनकी बस्ती के क़रीब कहीं नाज़िल होती रहेगी यहाँ तक कि अल्लाह का वादा आ जाए, यक़ीनन अल्लाह वादे के ख़िलाफ़ नहीं करता।
And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains.
Yeh apni apni chalen chal rahey hain aur Allah ko inn ki tamam chalon ka ilm hai aur inn ki chalen aisi na thin kay unn say pahar apni jagah say tal jayen.
और उन्होंने अपनी सारी तदबीरें कीं और उनकी तदबीरें अल्लाह के सामने थीं, अगरचे उनकी तदबीरें ऐसी थीं कि उन से पहाड़ भी टल जाएं।
The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation
Qareeb hai kay iss qol ki waja say aasman phat jayen aur zamin shaq hojaye aur pahar rezay rezay hojayen.
निकट है कि आकाश इस से फट पड़े और धरती टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाए और पहाड़ धमाके के साथ गिर पड़े,
And the mountains will pass on, departing -
Aur pahaar chalney phirney lagen gey.
और पहाड़ चलते-फिरते होंगे;
And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
Aur pahar bilkul reza reza kerdiye jayen gey.
और पहाड़ टूटकर चूर्ण-विचुर्ण हो जाएँगे
And the mountains will be like wool,
Aur pohaar misil rangeen oon kay hojey gay
और पर्वत रंग-बिरंगे ऊन के सदृश हो जाएँगे
On the Day the earth and the mountains will convulse and the mountains will become a heap of sand pouring down.
Jiss din zamen aur pahar thar thara jaein gzy aur phaar missal bhor bhori rait kay telon kay hojaein gay
जिस दिन धरती और पहाड़ काँप उठेंगे, और पहाड़ रेत के ऐसे ढेर होकर रह जाएगे जो बिखरे जा रहे होंगे
And when the mountains are blown away
Aur jab pahar tukray tukray kerdkay ura diya jaeyga
और पहाड़ चूर्ण-विचूर्ण होकर बिखर जाएँगे;
And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.
Aur pahar chaly jaein gay pus wo sarab hojaein gay
और पहाड़ चलाए जाएँगे, तो वे बिल्कुल मरीचिका होकर रह जाएँगे
And when the mountains are removed
Aur jab pahar chalaye jaein gya
जब पहाड़ चलाए जाएँगे,
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
Aur pahar dhunay huye rangeen oon ki tarah hojaein gay.
और पहाड़ के धुनके हुए रंग-बिरंग के ऊन जैसे हो जाएँगे
