Then I swear by the setting of the stars,
Pus mein qasam khata hun sitaron kay girnay ki.
अतः नहीं! मैं क़सम खाता हूँ सितारों की स्थितियों की -
So I swear by what you see
Pus mujhy qasam hay un chezon ki jinhein tum dekhtay ho
अतः कुछ नहीं! मैं क़सम खाता हूँ उन चीज़ों की जो तुम देखते
So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able
Pus mujhy qasam hay mashrikon aur maghribon kay rab ki ( kay ) hum yaqeenan qadir hein
अतः कुछ नहीं, मैं क़सम खाता हूँ पूर्वों और पश्चिमों के रब की, हमे इस की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
I swear by the Day of Resurrection
Mein qasam khata hun qayamat kay din ki
नहीं, मैं क़सम खाता हूँ क़ियामत के दिन की,
And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
Aur qasam khata hun uss nafas ki jo malamat kernay wala ho
और नहीं! मैं कसम खाता हूँ मलामत करने वाली आत्मा की
So I swear by the retreating stars -
Mein qasam khata hon pechay hatnay waly
अतः नहीं! मैं क़सम खाता हूँ पीछे हटने वालों की,
So I swear by the twilight glow
mujhy shafaq ki qasam!aur rat ki!
अतः कुछ नहीं, मैं क़सम खाता हूँ सांध्य-लालिमा की,
I swear by this city, Makkah -
Mein iss sher ki qasam khata hun
सुनो! मैं क़सम खाता हूँ इस नगर (मक्का) की -
