And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud.
Aur jab ibn-e-mariyam ki misal biyan ki gaee to iss say teri qom ( khushi say ) cheekhney lagi hai.
और जब मरयम के बेटे की मिसाल दी गई तो क्या देखते हैं कि उस पर तुम्हारी क़ौम के लोग लगे चिल्लाने
And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?" They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute.
Aur enhon ney kaha kay humaray mabood achay hain ya woh? Tujh say inn ka yeh kehna mehaz jhagray ki gharaz say hai bulkay yeh log hain hi jhagraloo.
और कहने लगे, "क्या हमारे उपास्य अच्छे नहीं या वह (मसीह)?" उन्होंने यह बात तुम से केवल झगड़ने के लिए कही, बल्कि वे तो हैं ही झगड़ालू लोग
Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.
Essa ( alh-e-salam ) bhi sirf banda hi hai jiss per hum ney ehsan kiya aur ussay bani-isareel kay liye nishan-e-qudrat banaya.
वह (ईसा मसीह) तो बस एक बन्दा था, जिस पर हम ने अनुकम्पा की और उसे हम ने इसराईल की सन्तान के लिए एक आदर्श बनाया
And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth.
Agar hum chahtay to tumharay ewaz farishtay kerdetay jo zamin mein ja nasheeni kertay.
और यदि हम चाहते हो तुम में से फ़रिश्ते पैदा कर देते, जो धरती में उत्ताराधिकारी होते
And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path.
Aur yaqeenan essa ( alh-e-salam ) qayamat ki alamat hai pus tum qayamt kay baray mein shak na kero aur meri tabeydaari kero yehi seedhi raah hai.
निश्चय ही वह उस घड़ी (जिस का वादा किया गया है) के ज्ञान का साधन है। अतः तुम उस के बारे में संदेह न करो और मेरा अनुसरण करो। यही सीधा मार्ग है
And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
Aur shetan tumhen rok na day yaqeenan woh tumhara sareeh dushman hai.
और शैतान तुम्हें रोक न दे, निश्चय ही वह तुम्हारा खुला शत्रु है
And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me.
Aur jab essa ( alh-e-salam ) mojzzay laye to kaha kay mein tumharay pass hikmat laya hun aur iss liye aaya hun kay jinn baaz cheezon mein tum mukhtalif ho unhen wazeh kerdoon pus tum Allah Taalaa say daro aur mera kaha mano.
जब ईसा स्पष्ट प्रमाणों के साथ आया तो उस ने कहा, "मैं तुम्हारे पास तत्वदर्शिता लेकर आया हूँ (ताकि उस की शिक्षा तुम्हें दूँ) और ताकि कुछ ऐसी बातें तुम पर खोल दूँ, जिनमें तुम मतभेद करते हो। अतः अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरी बात मानो
Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."
Mera aur tumhara rab faqat Allah Taalaa hi hai. Pus tum sab uss ki ibadat kero. Rah-e-raast ( yehi ) hai.
वास्तव में अल्लाह ही मेरा भी रब है और तुम्हारा भी रब है, तो उसी की बन्दगी करो। यही सीधा मार्ग है।"
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
Phir ( bani-israeel ki ) jamaton ney aapas mein ikhtilaf kiya pus zalimon kay liye kharabi hai dukh walay din ki aafat say.
किन्तु उन में के कितने ही गिरोहों ने आपस में विभेद किया। अतः तबाही है एक दुखद दिन की यातना से, उन लोगों के लिए जिन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया
