And when the caravan departed [from Egypt], their father said, "Indeed, I find the smell of Joseph [and would say that he was alive] if you did not think me weakened in mind."
Jab yeh qafila juda hua to unn kay walid ney kaha mujhay to yousuf ki khushboo aarahi hai agar tum mujhay sathyaya hua qarar na do.
और जब क़ाफ़िला (मिस्र से) चला तो उनके वालिद ने (कनआन) में कहा कि अगर तुम मुझको बुढ़ापे में बहकी बातें करने वाला न समझो तो मैं यूसुफ़ की ख़ुशबू महसूस कर रहा हूँ।
They said, "By Allah , indeed you are in your [same] old error."
Woh kehney lagay kay wallah apney issi puraney khabt mein mubtila hain.
लोगों ने कहाः अल्लाह की क़सम! तुम तो अभी तक अपने पुराने ग़लत ख़्याल में मुब्तला हो।
And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned [once again] seeing. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you do not know?"
Jab khushkhabri denay walay ney phonch ker unn kay mun per woh kurta dala ussi waqt woh phir say beena hogaye. Kaha! Kiya mein tum say na kaha kerta tha kay mein Allah ki taraf say woh baaten janta hun jo tum nahi jantay.
पस जब ख़ुश-ख़बरी देने वाला आया तो उसने कुर्ता याक़ूब के चेहरे पर डाल दिया पस उसकी आँखों की रौशनी वापस आ गई, उसने कहाः क्या मैंने तुमसे नहीं कहा था कि मैं अल्लाह की जानिब से वे बातें जानता हूँ जो तुम नहीं जानते।
They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners."
Enhon ney kaha abba ji! Aap humaray liye gunahon ki bakhsish talab kijiye be-shal hum qusoor waar hain.
यूसुफ़ के भाइयों ने कहाः ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! हमारे गुनाहों की माफ़ी की दुआ कीजिए, बेशक हम ख़तावार थे।
He said, "I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
Kaha acha mein jald hi tumharay liye apney perwerdigar say bakhsish maangoo ga woh boht bara bakhshney wala aur nihayat meharbani kerney wala hai.
याक़ूब (अलै॰) ने कहाः मैं अपने रब से तुम्हारे लिए मग़फ़िरत की दुआ करूँगा, बेशक वह बख़्शने वाला, रहम करने वाला है।
