In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
By the racers, panting,
Hanpety hoye dorney waly ghoron ki qasam!
साक्षी है जो हाँफते-फुँकार मारते हुए दौड़ते हैं,
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
Phir taap maar ker aag jharnay walon ki qasam!
फिर ठोकरों से चिनगारियाँ निकालते हैं,
And the chargers at dawn,
Phir subha kay waqat dhawa bolney walon ki qasam
फिर सुबह सवेरे धावा मारते होते हैं,
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
Pus uss waqat gard-o-ghubar uraty hein
उस में उठाया उन्होंने गर्द-गुबार
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
Phir ussi kay sath fojon kay darmiyan ghos jaty hein
और इसी हाल में वे दल में जा घुसे
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
Yaqeenan insan apnay rab ka bara nashukra hy
निस्संदेह मनुष्य अपने रब का बड़ा अकृतज्ञ है,
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
Aur yaqeenan who khud bhi issi per gawah hai
और निश्चय ही वह स्वयं इस पर गवाह है!
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
Yeh maal ki muhabbat mein bhi bara sakht hai
और निश्चय ही वह धन के मोह में बड़ा दृढ़ है
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
Kiya issay who waqat maloom nahi jabb qabron mein jo kuch hy nikal liya jaey ga.
तो क्या वह जानता नहीं जब उगलवा लिया जाएगा जो क़ब्रों में है
And that within the breasts is obtained,
Aur seenon ki poshida batein zahir kerdi jaeingi
और स्पष्ट अनावृत्त कर दिया जाएगा जो कुछ सीनों में है
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
Be-shak inka rab uss din unkay haal say poora ba-khabar hoga.
निस्संदेह उन का रब उस दिन उन की पूरी ख़बर रखता होगा
