And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers.
baaz log kehtay hain kay hum Allah Taalaa per aur qayamat kay din per eman rakhtay hain lekin dar haqeeqat woh eman walay nahi hain.
और लोगों में से कुछ एसे भी हैं जो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए अल्लाह पर और आख़िरत के दिन पर, हालाँकि वे ईमान वाले नहीं हैं।
But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
Aur baaz log woh bhi hain jo kehtay hain aey humaray rab! Humen duniya mein neki dey aur aakhirat mein bhi bhalaee ata farma aur humen azab-e-jahannum say nujat dey.
और उनमें से कुछ वे भी हैं जो कहते हैं कि ऐ हमारे (प्यारे) रब! हमको दुनिया में (भी) भलाई दीजिए और आख़िरत में भी भलाई दीजिए और हमें आग के अज़ाब से बचाइए।
And among them is he who says, "Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial." Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers.
Inn mein say koi to kehta hai mujhay ijazat dijiye mujhay fitnay mein na daliye aagah raho woh to fitnay mein parr chukay hain aur yaqeenan dozakh kafiron ko gher leney wali hai.
और उनमें वे भी हैं जो कहते हैं कि मुझे रुख़्सत दे दीजिए और मुझको फ़ित्ने में न डालिए, सुन लो! वे तो फ़ित्ने में पड़ चुके, और बेशक जहन्नम मुनकिरों को घेरे हुए है।
And whenever a surah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, "Which of you has this increased faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing.
Aur jab koi surat nazil ki jati hai to baaz munafiqeen kehtay hain kay iss surat ney tum mein say kiss kay eman ko ziyada kiya hai so log jo eman walay hain iss surat ney unn kay eman ko ziyada kiya hai aur woh khush horahey hain.
और जब कोई सूरत उतरती है तो उनमें से बअज़ कहते हैं कि इसने तुम में से किस का ईमान बढ़ा दिया है पस जो ईमान वाले हैं उनका इसने ईमान बढ़ा दिया है और वे ख़ुश हो रहे हैं।
And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah ," but when one [of them] is harmed for [the cause of] Allah , they consider the trial of the people as [if it were] the punishment of Allah . But if victory comes from your Lord, they say, "Indeed, We were with you." Is not Allah most knowing of what is within the breasts of all creatures?
Aur baaz log aisay bhi hain jo zabani kehtay hain kay hum eman laye hain lekin jab Allah ki raah mein koi mushkil aan parti hai to logon ko ezza dahi ko Allah Taalaa kay azab ki tarah bana letay hain haan haan agar Allah ki madad aajaye to pukar uthtay hain kay hum to tumharay sathi hi hain kiya duniya jahaan kay seeno mein jo kuch hai usay Allah Taalaa janta nahi hai?
लोगों में ऐसे भी हैं जो कहते हैं कि "हम अल्लाह पर ईमान लाए," किन्तु जब अल्लाह के मामले में वे सताए गए तो उन्होंने लोगों की ओर से आई हुई आज़माइश को अल्लाह की यातना समझ लिया। अब यदि तेरे रब की ओर से सहायता पहुँच गई तो कहेंगे, "हम तो तुम्हारे साथ थे।" क्या जो कुछ दुनिया वालों के सीनों में है उसे अल्लाह भली-भाँति नहीं जानता?
