الفاظ ( وَكَثِيْرٌ )

اور اگر یہ لوگ توراۃ و انجیل اور ان کی جانب جو کچھ اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف سے نازل فرمایا گیا ہے ان کے پورے پابند رہتے تو یہ لوگ اپنے اوپر سے اور نیچے سے روزیاں پاتے اور کھاتے ایک جماعت تو ان میں سے درمیانہ روش کی ہے ، باقی ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کے برے اعمال ہیں ۔

And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do.

کیا تو نہیں دیکھ رہا کہ اللہ کے سامنے سجدے میں ہیں سب آسمانوں والے اور سب زمینوں والے اور سورج اور چاند اور ستارے اور پہاڑ اور درخت اور جانور اور بہت سے انسان بھی ہاں بہت سے وہ بھی ہیں جن پر عذاب کا مقولہ ثابت ہو چکا ہے جسے رب ذلیل کر دے اسے کوئی عزت دینے والا نہیں ، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے ۔

Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills.

کیا تو نہیں دیکھ رہا کہ اللہ کے سامنے سجدے میں ہیں سب آسمانوں والے اور سب زمینوں والے اور سورج اور چاند اور ستارے اور پہاڑ اور درخت اور جانور اور بہت سے انسان بھی ہاں بہت سے وہ بھی ہیں جن پر عذاب کا مقولہ ثابت ہو چکا ہے جسے رب ذلیل کر دے اسے کوئی عزت دینے والا نہیں ، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے ۔

کیا اب تک ایمان والوں کے لئے وقت نہیں آیا کہ ان کے دل ذکر الٰہی سے اور جو حق اتر چکا ہے اس سے نرم ہوجائیں اور ان کی طرح نہ ہوجائیں جنہیں ان سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی تھی پھر جب ان پر ایک زمانہ دراز گزر گیا تو ان کے دل سخت ہوگئے اور ان میں بہت سے فاسق ہیں ۔

Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.

بیشک ہم نے نوح اور ابراہیم ( علیہما السلام ) کو ( پیغمبر بنا کر ) بھیجا اور ہم نے دونوں ان کی اولاد میں پیغمبری اور کتاب جاری رکھی تو ان میں سے کچھ تو راہ یافتہ ہوئے اور ان میں سے اکثر نافرمان رہے ۔

And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

ان کے بعد پھر بھی ہم اپنے رسولوں کو پے درپے بھیجتے رہے اور ان کے بعد عیسیٰ بن مریم ( علیہ السلام ) کو بھیجا اور انہیں انجیل عطا فرمائی اور ان کے ماننے والوں کے دلوں میں شفقت اور رحم پیدا کر دیا ہاں رہبانیت ( ترک دنیا ) تو ان لوگوں نے از خود ایجاد کر لی تھی ہم نے ان پر اسے واجب نہ کیا تھا سوائے اللہ کی رضا جوئی کے ۔ سوا انہوں نے اس کی پوری رعایت نہ کی پھر بھی ہم نے ان میں سے جو ایمان لائے تھےانہیں ان کا اجر دیا اور ان میں زیادہ تر لو گ نافرمان ہیں ۔

Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah . But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
