This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -
Iss kitab ( kay Allah ki kitab honey ) mein koi shak nahi perhezgaron ko raah dikhaney wali hai.
यह अल्लाह की किताब है इसमें कोई शक नहीं, राह दिखाती है डर रखने वालों को।
There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women or for what you conceal within yourselves. Allah knows that you will have them in mind. But do not promise them secretly except for saying a proper saying. And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period reaches its end. And know that Allah knows what is within yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
Tum per iss mein koi gunah nahi kay tum isharatan kanayatan inn aurton say nikkah ki babat kaho ya apney dil mein posheeda irada kero Allah Taalaa ko ilm hai kay kay tum zaroor inn ko yaad kero gay lekin tum inn say posheeda waday na ker lo haan yeh aur baat hai kay tum bhali baat bola kero aur aqad nikkah jab tak kay iddat khatam na hojaye pukhta na kero jaan rakho kay Allah Taalaa ko tumharay dilon ki baaton ka bhi ilm hai tum uss say khof khatay raha kero aur yeh bhi jaan rakho kay Allah Taalaa bakshish aur hilm wala hai.
और कोई गुनाह नहीं तुम पर इस बात में कि उन औरतों को पैग़ाम देने में कोई बात इशारे में कह दो या अपने दिल में छुपाए रखो, अल्लाह को मालूम है कि तुम उनका तज़किरा ज़रूर करोगे, मगर छुप कर उनसे कोई वादा न करो सिवाए इसके कि तुम उनसे कोई मुनासिब बात कह दो, और निकाह के रिश्ते का इरादा उस वक़्त तक पक्का न करो जब तक मुक़र्ररह मुद्दत अपनी इंतिहा को न पहुँच जाए, और जान लो कि अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों में है, पस उससे डरो और याद रखो कि अल्लाह बहुत बख़्शने वाला, बड़ा बुर्दबार है।
[We revealed it] lest you say, "The Scripture was only sent down to two groups before us, but we were of their study unaware,"
Kahin tum log yeh na kaho kay kitab to sirf hum say pehlay jo do firqay thay unn per nazil hui thi aur hum unn kay parheny parhaney say bey khabar thay.
इसलिए कि तुम यह न कहने लगो कि किताब तो हमसे पहले के दो गिरोहों को दी गई थी और हम उनके पढ़ने-पढ़ाने से बेख़बर थे।
Or lest you say, "If only the Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they." So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away.
Ya yun na kaho kay agar hum per koi kitab nazil hoti to hum inn say bhi ziyada raah-e-raast per hotay. So abb tumharay pass tumhara rab kay pass say aik kitab wazeh aur rehnumaee ka zariya aur rehmat aa chuki hai. Abb iss shaks say ziyada kaun zalim hoga jo humari inn aayaton ko jhoota bataye aur iss say rokay. Hum jald hi inn logon ko jo kay humari aayaton say roktay hain inn kay iss rokney kay sabab sakht saza den gay.
या यह कहो कि अगर हम पर किताब उतारी जाती तो हम उनसे बेहतर राह पर चलने वाले होते, पस आ चुकी तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से एक रौशन दलील और हिदायत और रहमत, तो उससे ज़्यादा ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो अल्लाह की निशानियों को झुठलाए और उनसे मुँह मोड़े, जो लोग हमारी निशानियों से मुँह मोड़ते हैं हम उनको उनके मुँह फेर लेने की वजह से बहुत बुरा अज़ाब देंगे।
And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?" And they will find what they did present [before them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one.
Aur naam-e-aemaal samney rakh diye jayen gay. Pus tu dekhay ga kay gunhegar iss ki tehreer say khofzada horahey hongay aur keh rahey hongay haaye humari kharabi yeh kaisi kitab hai jiss ney koi chota bara baghair gheray kay baqi hi nahi chora aur jo kuch enhon ney kiya tha sab mojood payen gay aur tera rab kissi per zulm-o-sitam na keray ga.
किताब (कर्मपत्रिका) रखी जाएगी तो अपराधियों को देखोंगे कि जो कुछ उस में होगा उस से डर रहे हैं और कह रहे हैं, "हाय, हमारा दुर्भाग्य! यह कैसी किताब है कि यह न कोई छोटी बात छोड़ती है न बड़ी, बल्कि सभी को इसने अपने अन्दर समाहित कर रखा है।" जो कुछ उन्होंने किया होगा सब मौजूद पाएँगे। तुम्हारा रब किसी पर ज़ुल्म न करेगा
And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers.
Aap ko kabhi iss ka khayal bhi na guzra tha kay aap ki taraf kitab nazil farmaee jaye gi lekin yeh aap kay rab i meharbaani say utra. Abb aap ko hergiz kafiron ka madadgaar na hona chahaye.
तुम तो इस की आशा नहीं रखते थे कि तुम्हारी ओर किताब उतारी जाएगी। इस की संभावना तो केवल तुम्हारे रब की दयालुता के कारण हुई। अतः तुम इनकार करने वालों के पृष्ठपोषक न बनो
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.
Aur zamin apney perwerdigar ka noor say jagmaga uthay gi naam-e-aemaal hazir kiyey jayen gay nabiyon aur gawahon ko ko laya jayega aur logon kay darmiyan haq haq faislay ker diyey jayen gay aur woh zulm na kiyey jayen gay.
और धरती रब के प्रकाश से जगमगा उठेगी, और किताब रखी जाएगी और नबियों और गवाहों को लाया जाएगा और लोगों के बीच हक़ के साथ फ़ैसला कर दिया जाएगा, और उन पर कोई ज़ुल्म न होगा
And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
Aur iss tarah hum ney aap ki taraf apnay hukum say rooh ko utara hai aap iss say pehlay yeh bhi nahi jantay thay kay kitab aur eman kiya cheez hai? Lekin hum nay issay noor banaya iss kay zariyey say apnay bandon mein say jissay chahatay hain hidayat detay hain be-shak aap raah-e-raast ki rehnumaee ker rahey hain.
और इसी प्रकार हम ने अपने आदेश से एक रूह (क़ुरआन) की प्रकाशना तुम्हारी ओर की है। तुम नहीं जानते थे कि किताब क्या होती है और न ईमान को (जानते थे), किन्तु हम ने इस (प्रकाशना) को एक प्रकाश बनाया, जिस के द्वारा हम अपने बन्दों में से जिसे चाहते हैं मार्ग दिखाते हैं। निश्चय ही तुम एक सीधे मार्ग की ओर पथप्रदर्शन कर रहे हो-
