And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah . They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying.
Aur duniya mein ziyada log aisay hain kay agar aap unn ka kehna mannay lagen to woh aap ko Allah ki raah say bey raah ker den woh mehaz bey asal khayalaat per chaltay hain aur bilkul qayassi baaten kertay hain.
और अगर आप लोगों की अक्सरियत के कहने पर चलो जो ज़मीन में हैं तो वे आपको अल्लाह के रास्ते से भटका देंगे, वे महज़ गुमान की पैरवी करते हैं और अंदाज़े लगाया करते हैं।
Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have associated [anything] and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but falsifying."
Yeh mushrikeen ( yun ) kahen gay kay agar Allah Taalaa ko manzoor hota to na hum shirk kertay aur na humaray baap dada aur na hum kissi cheez ko haram keh saktay. Issi tarah jo log inn say pehlay ho chukay hain unhon ney bhi takzeeb ki thi yahan tak kay unhon ney humaray azab ka maza chakha. Aap kahiye kay kiya tumharay pass koi daleel hai to iss ko humaray roo baroo zahir kero. Tum log mehaz khayali baaton per chaltay ho aur tum bilkul atkal say baaten banatay ho.
जिन्होंने शिर्क किया वे कहेंगे कि अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो न हम शिर्क करते और न हमारे बाप-दादा करते और न हम किसी चीज़ को हराम कर लेते, इसी तरह झुठलाया उन लोगें ने भी जो इससे पहले हुए थे यहाँ तक कि उन्होंने हमारा अज़ाब चखा, आप पूछिए कि क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई इल्म है जिसको तुम हमारे सामने पेश करो, तुम तो सिर्फ़ गुमान के पीछे चल रहे हो और महज़ अंदाज़ों से काम ले रहे हो।
And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
Aur inn mein say aksar log sirf gumaan per chal rahey hain. Yaqeenan gumaan haq ( ki maarfat ) mein kuch bhi kaam nahi dey sakta yeh jo kuch ker rahey hain yaqeenan Allah ko sab khabar hai.
उनमें से अकसर सिर्फ़ गुमान की पैरवी कर रहे हैं, और गुमान हक़ बात में कुछ भी काम नहीं देता, बेशक अल्लाह को ख़ूब मालूम है जो कुछ वे करते हैं।
Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. And those who invoke other than Allah do not [actually] follow [His] "partners." They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying
Yaad rakho kay jitney kuch aasman mein hain aur jitney zamin mein hain yeh sab Allah hi kay hain aur jo log Allah ko chor ker doosray shurka ki ibadat ker rahey hain kiss cheez ki ittabaa ker rahey hain aur mehaz atkalen laga rahey hain.
सुन लो! जो आसमानों में हैं और जो ज़मीन में है सब अल्लाह के हैं, और जो लोग अल्लाह के सिवा शरीकों को पुकारते हैं वे किस चीज़ की पैरवी कर रहे हैं, वे सिर्फ़ गुमान की पैरवी कर रहे हैं और वे महज़ अंदाज़े लगा रहे हैं।
They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance.
DAR-asal yeh sirf naam hain jo tum ney aur tumharay baap dadon ney inkay rakh liye hain Allah ney inki koi daleel nahi utaari yeh log to sirf atkal kay aur apni nafsaani khuwaishon kay peechay paray huye hain aur yaqeenan unkay rab ki taraf say unkay pass hidayat aa chuki hai.
वे तो बस कुछ नाम है जो तुम ने और तुम्हारे बाप-दादा ने रख लिए हैं। अल्लाह ने उन के लिए कोई सनद नहीं उतारी। वे तो केवल अटकल के पीछे चले रहे हैं और उन के पीछे जो उन के मन की इच्छा होती है। हालाँकि उन के पास उन के रब की ओर से मार्गदर्शन आ चुका है

Halankay unhen iss ka koi ilm nahi woh sirf apney gumaan kay peechay paray huye hain aur be-shak weham ( o-guman ) haq kay muqablay mein kuch kaam nahi deta.
हालाँकि इस विषय में उन्हें कोई ज्ञान नहीं। वे केवल अटकल के पीछे चलते हैं, हालाँकि सत्य से जो लाभ पहुँचता है वह अटकल से कदापि नहीं पहुँच सकता।
