And from wherever you go out [for prayer], turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] may be, turn your faces toward it in order that the people will not have any argument against you, except for those of them who commit wrong; so fear them not but fear Me. And [it is] so I may complete My favor upon you and that you may be guided.
Aur jiss jagah say aap niklen apna mun masjid-e-haram ki taraf pher len aur jahan kahin tum ho apney chehray issi taraf kiya kero takay logon ki koi hujjat tum per baqi na reh jaye siwaye unn logon kay jinhon ney inn mein say zulm kiya hai tum inn say na daro mujh hi say daro aur takay mein apni nemat tum per poori keroon aur iss liye bhi kay tum raah-e-raast pao.
और तुम जहाँ से भी निकलो अपना रुख़ मस्जिदे-हराम की तरफ़ करो, और तुम जहाँ भी रहो अपने रुख़ उसी तरफ़ रखो; ताकि लोगों को तुम्हारे ऊपर कोई हुज्जत बाक़ी न रहे, सिवाए उन लोगों के जो उन में बे-इंसाफ़ हैं, पस तुम उन से न डरो और मुझ से डरो, और ताकि मैं अपनी नेमत तुम्हारे ऊपर पूरी कर दूँ, और ताकि तुम राह पा जाओ।
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Maah-e-ramzan woh hai jiss mein quran utaara gaya jo logon ko hidayat kerney wala hai aur jiss mein hidayat ki aur haq-o-baatil ki tameez ki nishaniyan hain tum mein say jo shaks iss maheeney ko paye ussay roza rakhna chahaiye haan jo beemar ho ya musafir ho ussay doosray dinon mein yeh ginti poori kerni chahaiye Allah Taalaa ka irada tumharay sath aasani ka hai sakhti ka nahi woh chahata hai kay tum ginti poori ker lo aur Allah Taalaa ki di hui hidayat per uss ki baraiyan biyan kero aur uss ka shukar kero.
रमज़ान का महीना जिसमें क़ुरआन उतारा गया, हिदायत है लोगों के लिए और खुली निशानियाँ रास्ते की और हक़ व बातिल के बीच फ़ैसला करने वाला, पस तुम में से जो कोई इस महीने को पाए वह उसके रोज़े रखे, और जो बीमार हो या सफ़र पर हो तो दूसरे दिनों में गिनती पूरी कर ले, अल्लाह तुम्हारे लिए आसानी चाहता है वह तुम्हारे साथ सख़्ती करना नहीं चाहता; और इसलिए कि तुम गिनती पूरी कर लो और अल्लाह की बड़ाई बयान करो इस पर कि उसने तुमको राह बताई और ताकि तुम उसके शुक्रगुज़ार बनो।
Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy."
Aur kiya tum iss baat say tajjub kertay ho kay tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say tumharay pass aik aisay shaks ki maarfat jo tumhari hi jinss ka hai koi naseehat ki baat aagaee takay woh shaks tum ko daraye aur takay tum darr jao aur takay tum per reham kiya jaye.
क्या तुमको इस पर तअज्जुब हुआ कि तुम्हारे रब की नसीहत तुम्हारे पास तुम्हीं में से एक शख़्स के ज़रिए आई; ताकि वह तुमको डराए और ताकि तुम बचो और ताकि तुम पर रहम किया जाए।
And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Aur darya bhi ussi ney tumharay bus mein ker diye hain kay tum iss mein say ( nikla hua ) taza gosht khao aur iss mein say apney pehanney kay zaiwraat nikal sako aur tum dekhtay ho kay kashtiyan iss mein pani cheerti hui ( chalti ) hain aur iss liye bhi kay tum uss ka fazal talash kero aur hosakta hai kay tum shukar guzari bhi kero.
और वही है जिसने समुंदर को तुम्हारे काम में लगा दिया; ताकि तुम उसमें से ताज़ा गोश्त खाओ और उससे ज़ेवर निकालो जिसको तुम पहनते हो, और तुम कश्तियों को देखते हो कि उसमें चीरती हुई चलती हैं और ताकि तुम उसका फ़ज़्ल तलाश करो और ताकि तुम शुक्र करो।
And out of His mercy He made for you the night and the day that you may rest therein and [by day] seek from His bounty and [that] perhaps you will be grateful.
Ussi ney tumharay liye apnay fazal-o-karam say din raat muqarrar ker diye hain kay tum raat mein aaraam kero aur din mein uss ki bheji hui rozi talash kero yeh iss liye kay tum shukar ada kero.
उस ने अपनी दयालुता से तुम्हारे लिए रात और दिन बनाए, ताकि तुम उस में (रात में) आराम पाओ और ताकि तुम (दिन में) उस का अनुग्रह (रोज़ी) तलाश करो और ताकि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखाओ।"
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.
Uss ki nishaniyon mein say khushkhabriyan denay wali hawaon ko chalana bhi hai iss liye kay tumhen apni rehmat say lutf andoz keray aur iss liye kay uss kay hukum say kashtiyan chalen aur iss liye kay uss kay fazal ko tum dhondo aur iss liye kay tum shukar guzari kero.
और उस की निशानियों में से यह भी है कि शुभ सूचना देने वाली हवाएँ भेजता है (ताकि उन के द्वारा तुम्हें वर्षा की शुभ सूचना मिले) और ताकि वह तुम्हें अपनी दयालुता का रसास्वादन कराए और ताकि उस के आदेश से नौकाएँ चलें और ताकि तुम उस का अनुग्रह (रोज़ी) तलाश करो और कदाचित तुम कृतज्ञता दिखलाओ
And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Aur barabar nahi do darya yeh meetha hai piyas bujhata peenay mein khusgawar aur yeh doosra khaari hai kerwa tum inn dono mein say taza gosht khatay ho aur woh zewraat nikaltay ho jinhen tum pehantay ho. Aur aap dekhtay hian kay bari bari kashtiyan pani ko cheerney pharney wali inn daryayon mein hain takay tum uss ka fazal dhondo aur takay tum uss ka shukar kero.
दोनों सागर समान नहीं, यह मीठा सुस्वाद है जिस से प्यास जाती रहे, पीने में रुचिकर। और यह खारा-कडुवा है। और तुम प्रत्येक में से तरोताज़ा माँस खाते हो और आभूषण निकालते हो, जिसे तुम पहनते हो। और तुम नौकाओं को देखते हो कि चीरती हुई उस में चली जा रही हैं, ताकि तुम उस का उदार अनुग्रह तलाश करो और कदाचित तुम आभारी बनो
It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Alla hi hai jiss ney tumharay liye darya ko taabey bana diya takay uss kay hukum say iss mein kashtiyan chalen aur tum uss ka fazal talash keroaur takay tum shukar baja lao.
वह अल्लाह ही है जिस ने समुद्र को तुम्हारे लिए वशीभूत कर दिया है, ताकि उस के आदेश से नौकाएँ उस में चलें; और ताकि तुम उस का उदार अनुग्रह तलाश करो; और इसलिए कि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखाओ
