الفاظ ( التَّوَّابُ )

۔ ( حضرت ) آدم ( علیہ السلام ) نے اپنے رب سے چند باتیں سیکھ لیں اور اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کی توبہ قبول فرمائی بیشک وہی توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور رحم کر نے والا ہے ۔

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

جب ( حضرت ) موسیٰ ( علیہ السلام ) نے اپنی قوم !سے کہا کہ اے میری قوم بچھڑے کو معبود بنا کر تم نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا ہے ۔ اب تم اپنے پیدا کرنے والے کی طرف رجوع کرو ، اپنے کو آپس میں قتل کرو ، تمہاری بہتری اللہ تعالٰی کے نزدیک اسی میں ہے ، تو اس نے تمہاری توبہ قبول کی ، وہ توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور رحم و کرم کرنے والا ہے ۔

And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by your taking of the calf [for worship]. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves. That is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator." Then He accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

اے ہمارے رب !ہمیں اپنا فرمانبردار بنا لے اور ہماری اولاد میں سے بھی ایک جماعت کو اپنی اطاعت گزار رکھ اور ہمیں اپنی عبادتیں سکھا اور ہماری توبہ قبول فرما تُو توبہ قبول فرمانے والا اور رحم و کرم کرنے والا ہے ۔

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

مگر وہ لوگ جو توبہ کرلیں اور اصلاح کرلیں اور بیان کر دیں تو میں ان کی توبہ قبول کر لیتا ہوں اور میں توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور رحم و کرم کرنے والا ہوں ۔

Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

کیا ان کو یہ خبر نہیں کہ اللہ ہی اپنے بندوں کی توبہ قبول کرتا ہے اور وہی صدقات کو قبول فرماتا ہے اور یہ کہ اللہ ہی توبہ قبول کرنے میں اور رحمت کر نے میں کامل ہے ۔

Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants and receives charities and that it is Allah who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful?

اور تین شخصوں کے حال پر بھی جن کا معاملہ ملتوی چھوڑ دیا گیا تھا یہاں تک کہ جب زمین باوجود اپنی فراخی کے ان پر تنگ ہونے لگی اور وہ خود اپنی جان سے تنگ آگئے اور انہوں نے سمجھ لیا کہ اللہ سے کہیں پناہ نہیں مل سکتی بجز اس کے کہ اسی کی طرف رجوع کیا جائے پھر ان کے حال پر توجہ فرمائی تاکہ وہ آئندہ بھی توبہ کر سکیں بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا بڑا رحم والا ہے ۔

And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him. Then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
