And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah , We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
Aur agar yeh ehal-e-kitab eman latay aur taqwa ikhtiyar kertay to hum inn ki tamam burayian moaf farma detay aur zaroor enhen rahat-o-aaram ki jannaton mein ley jatay.
और अगर अहले-किताब ईमान लाते और अल्लाह से डरते तो हम ज़रूर उनकी बुराइयाँ उन से दूर कर देते और उनको नेमतों के बाग़ात में दाख़िल करते।
And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah , We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning."
Aur agar unn bastiyon kay rehney walay eman ley aatay aur perhezgari ikhtiyar kertay to hum unn per aasman aur zamin ki barkaten khol detay lekin unhon ney takzeeb ki to hum ney unn kay aemaal ki waja say unn ko pakar liya.
और अगर बस्तियों वाले ईमान लाते और डरते तो हम उन पर आसमान और ज़मीन की नेमतें खोल देते, मगर उन्होंने झुठलाया तो हमने उनको पकड़ लिया उनके आमाल के बदले।
They said, "Are you amazed at the decree of Allah ? May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Honorable."
Farishton ney kaha kiya tu Allah ki qudrat say tajjub ker rahi hai? Tum per aey iss ghar kay logo Allah ki rehmat aur uss ki barkat nazil hon be-shak Allah hamd-o-sana ka saza waar aur bari shaan wala hai.
फ़रिश्तों ने कहाः क्या तुम अल्लाह के हुक्म पर तअज्जुब करती हो, इब्राहीम के घर वालो! तुम पर अल्लाह की रहमतें और बरकतें हैं, बेशक अल्लाह निहायत क़ाबिले-तारीफ़, बड़ी शान वाला है।
And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
Aap say pehlay bhi hum mardon ko hi bhejtay rahey jin ki janib wahee utara kertay thay pus agar tum nahi jantay to ehl-e-ilm say daryaft kerlo.
और हमने आपसे पहले भी आदमियों ही को रसूल बनाकर भेजा जिनकी तरफ़ हम वह्य करते थे, पस इल्म वालों से पूछ लो अगर तुम नहीं जानते।
So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so al-Khidh r restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment."
Phir dono chalay aik gaaon walon kay pass aaker unn say khana talab kiya to unhon ney unn ki mehmandaari say saaf inkar ker diya dono ney wahan aik deewar paee jo gira hi chahati thi uss ney ussay theek aur durust ker diya musa ( alh-e-salam ) kehney lagay agar aap chahatay to iss per ujrat ley letay.
फिर वे दोनों चले, यहाँ तक कि जब वे एक बस्ती वालों के पास पहुँचे और उन से भोजन माँगा, किन्तु उन्होंने उन के आतिथ्य से इनकार कर दिया। फिर वहाँ उन्हें एक दीवार मिली जो गिरना चाहती थी, तो उस व्यक्ति ने उसको खड़ा कर दिया। (मूसा ने) कहा, "यदि आप चाहते तो इस की कुछ मज़दूरी ले सकते थे।"
And We sent not before you, [O Muhammad], except men to whom We revealed [the message], so ask the people of the message if you do not know.
Tujh say pehlay bhi jitney payghumber hum ney bhejay sabhi mard thay jin ki taraf hum wahee utartay thay pus tum ehal-e-kitab say pooch lo agar khud tumhen ilm na ho.
और तुम से पहले भी हम ने पुरुषों ही को रसूल बनाकर भेजा, जिनकी ओर हम प्रकाशना करते थे। - यदि तुम्हें मालूम न हो तो ज़िक्र वालों (किताब वालों) से पूछ लो। -
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
Aur ehal-kitab kay sath behas-o-mubahisa na kero magar iss tareeqay per jo umdah ho magar unn kay sath jo unn mein zalim hain aur saaf aeylaan kerdo kay humara to iss kitab per bhi eman hai jo hum per utari gaee hai aur iss per bhi jo tum per utari gaee hai humara tumhara mabood aik hi hai. Hum sab ussi kay hukum bardaar hain.
और किताब वालों से बस उत्तम रीति ही से वाद-विवाद करो - रहे वे लोग जो उन में ज़ालिम हैं, उन की बात दूसरी है - और कहो - "हम ईमान लाए उस चीज़ पर जो अवतरित हुई और तुम्हारी ओर भी अवतरित हुई। और हमारा पूज्य और तुम्हारा पूज्य अकेला ही है और हम उसी के आज्ञाकारी हैं।"
And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.
Aur apnay gharon mein qarar say raho aur qadeem jahiliyat kay zamaney ki tarah apna banao ka izhar na kero aur namaz ada kerti raho aur zakat deti raho aur Allah aur uss kay rasool ki itaat guzari kero. Allah Taalaa yehi chahta hai kay aey nabi ki ghar waliyon! Tum say woh ( her qisam ki ) gandagi ko door kerday aur tumhen khoob pak ker day.
अपने घरों में टिककर रहो और विगत अज्ञानकाल की-सी सज-धज न दिखाती फिरना। नमाज़ का आयोजन करो और ज़कात दो। और अल्लाह और उस के रसूल की आज्ञा का पालन करो। अल्लाह तो बस यही चाहता है कि ऐ नबी के घर वालो, तुम से गन्दगी को दूर रखे और तुम्हें पुरी तरह पाक-साफ़ रखे
