And We took the Children of Israel across the sea; then they came upon a people intent in devotion to [some] idols of theirs. They said, "O Moses, make for us a god just as they have gods." He said, "Indeed, you are a people behaving ignorantly.
Aur hum ney bani israeel ko darya kay paar utaar diya. Pus unn logon ka aik qom per guzar hua jo apney chand button say lagay bethay thay kehney lagay aey musa! Humaray liye bhi aik mabood aisa hi muqarrar ker dijiye! Jaisay inn kay yeh mabood hain. Aap ney farmaya kay waqaee tum logon mein bari jahalat hai.
और हमने बनी-इस्राईल को समुंदर के पार उतार दिया फिर उनका गुज़र एक ऐसी क़ौम पर हुआ जो अपने बुतों (की इबादत) पर जमी हुई थी, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ मूसा! हमारी इबादत के लिए भी एक बुत बना दो जैसे इनके बुत हैं, मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम तो बड़े जाहिल लोग हो।
Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know.
Jo Allah kay sath doosray mabood muqarrar kertay hain unhen un-qarib maloom hojayega.
जो अल्लाह के साथ दूसरे माबूद को शरीक करते हैं पस जल्द ही वे जान लेंगे।
Do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity and [thereby] become censured and forsaken.
Allah kay sath kissi aur ko mabood na thehra kay aakhirish tu buray halon bey kus hoker beht rahey ga.
आप अल्लाह के साथ किसी और को माबूद न बनाइए वर्ना आप बदहाल और बेकस होकर रह जाएंगे।
That is from what your Lord has revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of wisdom. And, [O mankind], do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity, lest you be thrown into Hell, blamed and banished.
Yeh bhi munjmila uss wahee kay hai jo teri janib teray rab ney hikmat say utari hai tu Allah kay sath kissi aur ko mabood na banana kay malamat khorda aur raand-e-dargah hoker dozakh mein daal diya jaye.
ये वे बातें हैं जो आपके रब ने हिकमत में से आपकी तरफ़ वह्य की हैं, और (ऐ इंसान) अल्लाह के साथ किसी और को माबूद न बना वर्ना तुझे मलामत करके धक्के देकर दोज़ख़ में फेंक दिया जाएगा।
And We made firm their hearts when they stood up and said, "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never will we invoke besides Him any deity. We would have certainly spoken, then, an excessive transgression.
Hum ney unn kay dil mazboot ker diye thay jabkay yeh uth kharay huye aur kehney lagay kay humara perwerdigar to wohi hai jo aasman-o-zamin ka perwerdigar hai na mumkin hai kay hum uss kay siwa kissi aur mabood ko pukaren agar aisa kiya to hum ney nihayat hi ghalat baat kahi.
और हम ने उन के दिलों को सुदृढ़ कर दिया। जब वे उठे तो उन्होंने कहा, "हमारा रब तो वही है जो आकाशों और धरती का रब है। हम उस से इतर किसी अन्य पूज्य को कदापि न पुकारेंगे। यदि हम ने ऐसा किया तब तो हमारी बात हक़ से बहुत हटी हुई होगी
So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished.
Pus tu Allah kay sath kissi aur mabood ko na pukar kay tu bhi saza paney walon mein say ho jaye.
अतः अल्लाह के साथ दूसरे इष्ट-पूज्य को न पुकारना, अन्यथा तुम्हें भी यातना दी जाएगी
