And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
Aur hum kissi na kissi tarah tumhari aazmaish zaroor keren gay dushman kay darr say bhook piyas say maal-o-jaan aur phalon ki kami say aur unn sabar kerney walon ko khushkhabri dey dijiye.
और हम ज़रूर तुमको आज़माएंगे कुछ डर और भूख से और मालों और जानों और फलों में कमी के ज़रिए, और साबित-क़दम रहने वालों को ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दो।
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Allah Taalaa hi mabood-e-bar haq hai jiss kay siwa koi mabood nahi jo zinda aur sab kay thamney wala hai jissay na oongh aaye na neend uss ki milkiyat mein zamin aur aasmanon ki tamam cheezen hain. Kaun hai jo uss ki ijazat kay baghair uss kay samney shifaat ker sakay woh janta hai jo inn kay samney hai aur jo inn kay peechay hai aur woh iss kay ilm mein say kissi cheez ka ehaata nahi ker saktay magar jitna woh chahaye uss ki kursi ki wusat ney zamin-o-aasman ko gher rakha hai aur Allah Taalaa inn ki hifazat say na thakta na uktata hai woh to boht buland aur boht bara hai.
अल्लाह वह है कि उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, वह ज़िन्दा है, सबका थामने वाला है, उसे न ऊँघ आती है और न ही नींद, उसी का है जो कुछ आसमानों और ज़मीन में है, कौन है जो उसके पास उसकी इजाज़त के बग़ैर सिफ़ारिश करे, वह जानता है जो कुछ उनके आगे है और जो कुछ उनके पीछे है, और वे किसी चीज़ को जान नहीं सकते उसके इल्म में से मगर जो वह चाहे, उसकी हकूमत छाई हुई है आसमानों और ज़मीन पर, और उस पर भारी नहीं है ज़मीन व आसमान की हिफ़ाज़त करना, और वही है बुलंद मर्तबे वाला, अज़मतों वाला।
O you who have believed, Allah will surely test you through something of the game that your hands and spears [can] reach, that Allah may make evident those who fear Him unseen. And whoever transgresses after that - for him is a painful punishment.
Aey eman walo! Allah Taalaa qadray shikar say tumhara imtehan keray ga jin tak tumharay haath aur tumharay naizay phonch saken gay takay Allah Taalaa maloom ker ley kay kaun shaks iss say binn dekhay darta hai so jo shaks iss kay baad hadd say niklay ga uss kay wastay dard naak saza hai.
ऐ ईमान वालो! अल्लाह तुम्हें शिकार के कुछ जानवरों के ज़रिए आज़माएगा जो बिल्कुल तुम्हारे हाथों और नेज़ों की ज़द में होंगे; ताकि अल्लाह देख ले कि कौन शख़्स उससे बिन देखे डरता है, फिर जिसने इसके बाद ज़्यादती की तो उसके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है।
To Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error [i.e. futility].
Ussi ko pukarna haq hai. Jo log auron ko iss kay siwa pukartay hain woh unn ( ki pukar ) ka kuch bhi jawab nahi detay magar jaisay koi shaks apney dono hath pani ki taraf phelaye huye ho kay uss kay mun mein parr jaye halankay woh pani uss kay mun mein phonchney wala nahi inn munkiron ki jitni pukar hai sab gumrahi mein hai.
उसी को पुकारना हक़ है, जो लोग औरों को उसके सिवा पुकारते हैं वे उन (की पुकार) का कुछ भी जवाब नहीं देते मगर जैसे कोई शख़्स अपने दोनों हाथ पानी की तरफ़ फैलाए हुए हो कि वह उसके मुँह में पड़ जाए; हालाँकि वह पानी कभी उसके मुँह में पहुँचने वाला नहीं, उन मुनकिरों की जितनी पुकार है सब गुमराही में है।
[Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?"
Musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha agar cheh mein teray pass koi khulli cheez ley aaon?
उस ने कहा, "क्या यदि मैं तेरे पास एक स्पष्ट चीज़ ले आऊँ तब भी?"
And Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
Aur Allah Taalaa theek theek failsa ker dey ga uss kay siwa jihen yeh log pukartay hain woh kissi cheez ka bhi faisla nahi ker saktay be-shak Allah Taalaa khoob sunta khoob dekhta hai.
अल्लाह ठीक-ठीक फ़ैसला कर देगा। रहे वे लोग जिन्हें वे अल्लाह को छोड़कर पुकारते हैं, वे किसी चीज़ का भी फ़ैसला करने वाले नहीं। निस्संदेह अल्लाह ही है जो सुनता, देखता है
