Yaqeenan yousuf aur uss kay bhaiyon mein daryaft kerney walon kay liye ( bari ) nishaniyan hai.
हक़ीक़त यह है कि यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) और उसके भाइयों में पूछने वालों के लिए बड़ी निशानियाँ हैं।
When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error.
Jabkay unhon ney kaha kay yousuf aur uss ka bhai ba-nisbat humaray baap ko boht ziyada piyaray hain halankay hum ( taqatwar ) jamat hain koi shak nahi kay humaray abba sareeh ghalati mein hain.
जब उसके भाइयों ने आपस में कहा कि यूसुफ़ और उसका भाई हमारे वालिद को हमसे ज़्यादा महबूब हैं; हालाँकि हम एक पूरी जमात हैं, यक़ीनन हमारे वालिद एक खुली हुई ग़लती में मुब्तला हैं।
Kill Joseph or cast him out to [another] land; the countenance of your father will [then] be only for you, and you will be after that a righteous people."
Yousuf ko to maar hi dalo yaa ussay kissi ( na maloom ) jagah phenk do kay tumharay walid ka rukh sirf tumhari taraf hi hojaye. Iss kay baad tum nek ho jana.
यूसुफ़ को क़त्ल कर दो या उसको किसी जगह फेंक दो; ताकि तुम्हारे वालिद की तवज्जोह सिर्फ़ तुम्हारी तरफ़ हो जाए और उसके बाद तुम बिल्कुल ठीक हो जाना।
Said a speaker among them, "Do not kill Joseph but throw him into the bottom of the well; some travelers will pick him up - if you would do [something]."
Inn mein say aik ney kaha yousuf ko qatal to na kero bulkay ussay kissi andhay koowen ( ki teh ) mein daal aao kay ussay koi ( aata jata ) qafila utha ley jaye agar tumhen kerne hi hai to yun kero.
उनमें से एक कहने वाले ने कहा कि यूसुफ़ को क़त्ल न करो, अगर तुम कुछ करने ही वाले हो तो उसको किसी अंधे कुँएं में डाल दो, कोई राह चलता क़ाफिला उसको निकाल ले जाएगा।
They said, "O our father, why do you not entrust us with Joseph while indeed, we are to him sincere counselors?
Unhon ney kaha abba! Aakhir aap yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) kay baray mein hum per aitbaar kiyon nahi kertay hum to iss kay khair khua hain.
उन्होंने वालिद से कहाः ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! क्या बात है कि आप यूसुफ़ के मामले में हम पर भरोसा नहीं करते; हालाँकि हम तो उसके ख़ैर-ख़्वाह हैं।
Send him with us tomorrow that he may eat well and play. And indeed, we will be his guardians.
Kal aap zaroor issay humaray sath bhej dijiye kay khoob khaye piye aur khelay iss ki hifazat kay hum zimmay daar hain.
कल उसको हमारे साथ भेज दीजिए, ख़ूब खाए और खेले और हम उसके निगहबान हैं।
[Jacob] said, "Indeed, it saddens me that you should take him, and I fear that a wolf would eat him while you are of him unaware."
( yaqoob alh-e-salam ney ) kay issay tumhara ley jana mujhay to sakht sadma dey ga aur mujhay yeh bhi khutka laga rahey ga kay tumhari ghaflat mein issay bheyriya kha jaye.
वालिद ने कहाः मैं इससे ग़मगीन होता हूँ कि तुम उसको ले जाओ और मुझको अंदेशा है कि उसको कोई भेड़िया खा जाए जबकि तुम उससे ग़ाफ़िल हो।
They said, " If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers."
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum jaisi ( zor aawar ) jamat ki mojoodgi mein bhi agar issay bheyriya kha jaye to hum bilkul nikammay hi huye.
उन्होंने कहा कि अगर उसको भेड़िया खा गया जबकि हम एक पूरी जमात हैं तो हम बड़े ख़सारे वाले साबित होंगे।
