We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.
Hum ney bil yaqeen bano israeel say ehad-o-paymaan liya aur unn ki taraf rasoolon ko bheja jab kabhi rasool unn kay pass woh ehkaam ley ker aaye jo unn ki apni mansha kay khilaf thay to unhon ney unn ki jamat ki takzeeb ki aur aik jamat ko qatal ker diya.
हमने बनी-इस्राईल से अहद लिया और उनकी तरफ़ बहुत-से रसूल भेजे, जब जब कोई रसूल उनके पास ऐसी बात लेकर आया जिसको उनका जी न चाहता था तो बअज़ रसूलों को उन्होंने झुठलाया और बअज़ को क़त्ल कर दिया।
You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.
Inn mein say boht say logon ko aap dekhen gay kay woh kafiron say dostiyan kertay hain jo kuch enhon ney apney liye aagay bhej rakha hai woh boht bura hai kay Allah Taalaa inn say naraz hua aur woh hamesha jahannum mein rahen gay.
आप उनमें से बहुत लोगों को देखोगे कि कुफ़्र करने वालों से दोस्ती रखते हैं, कैसी बुरी चीज़ है जो उन्होंने अपने लिए आगे भेजी है कि अल्लाह का ग़ज़ब हुआ उन पर और वे हमेशा अज़ाब में पड़े रहेंगे।
So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.
Pus aap ko inn kay maal-o-aulad tajjub mein na daal den. Allah ki chahat yehi hai kay iss say enhen duniya ki zindagi mein hi saza dey aur inn kay kufur hi ki halat mein inn ki janen nikal jayen.
पस आप उनके माल और औलाद को कुछ वक़अत न दीजिए, अल्लाह तो यह चाहता है कि इनके ज़रिए से उन्हें दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में अज़ाब दे और उनकी जानें इस हालत में निकलें कि वे काफ़िर हों।
And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.
Aap ko inn kay maal-o-aulad kuch bhi bhalay na lagen! Allah ki chahat yehi hai kay enhen inn cheezon say dunyawi saza dey aur yeh apni janen nikalney tak kafir hi rahen.
और उनके माल और उनकी औलाद आपको तअज्जुब में न डालें, अल्लाह तो बस यह चाहता है कि इनके ज़रिए से उनको दुनिया में अज़ाब दे और उनकी जानें इस हाल में निकलें कि वे मुनकिर हों।
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.
Woh to dozakh ki aahat tak na sunen gay aur pani mann bhati cheezon mein hamesha rehney walay hongay.
वे उस की आहट भी नहीं सुनेंगे और अपनी मनचाही चीज़ों के मध्य सदैव रहेंगे
And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves - then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful.
Jo log apni biwiyon per bad-kaari ki tohmat lagayen aur unn ka koi gawah ba-juz khud unn ki zaat kay na ho to aisay logon mein say her aik ka saboot yeh hai kay char martaba Allah ki qasam kha ker kahen kay woh sachon mein say hain.
और जो लोग अपनी पत्नियों पर दोषारोपण करें और उन के पास स्वयं के सिवा गवाह मौजूद न हों, तो उन में से एक (अर्थात पति) चार बार अल्लाह की क़सम खाकर यह गवाही दे कि वह बिलकुल सच्चा है
And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.
Unhon ney inkar ker diya halankay unn kay dil yaqeen ker chukay thay sirf zulm aur takabbur ki bina per. Pus dekh lijiye kay inn fitna perdaaz logon ka anjam kaisa kuch hua.
उन्होंने ज़ुल्म और सरकशी से उन का इनकार कर दिया, हालाँकि उन के जी को उन का विश्वास हो चुका था। अब देख लो इन बिगाड़ पैदा करने वालों का क्या परिणाम हुआ?
