And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals."
Aey meri qom kay logo! Tum apney paalney walay say apni taqseeron ki moafi talab kero aur uss ki janib mein toba kero takay woh barasney walay badal tum per bhej dey aur tumahri taqat per aur taqat qooat barha dey aur tum jurum kertay huye roo gardani na kero.
और ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अपने रब से माफ़ी चाहो फिर उसकी तरफ़ पलटो, वह तुम्हारे ऊपर ख़ूब बारिशें बरसाएगा और तुम्हारी क़ुव्वत पर मज़ीद क़ुव्वत का इज़ाफ़ा करेगा, और तुम मुजरिम होकर मुँह न फेर लो।
And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."
Aur hum ney keh diya kay aey aadam! Tum aur tumhari biwi jannat mein raho aur jahan kahin say chahao ba faraghat khao piyo lekin uss darakht kay qareeb na jana werna zalim hojao gay.
और हमने कहा, ऐ आदम! तुम और तुम्हारी बीवी दोनों जन्नत में रहो, और उसमें से खाओ जी भर के जहाँ से चाहो और उस दरख़्त के क़रीब मत जाना वर्ना तुम ज़ालिमों में से हो जाओगे।
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -
Jo iss kay siwa kuch aur chahayen wohi hadd say tajawuz ker janey walay hain.
परन्तु जो कोई इस के अतिरिक्त कुछ और चाहे तो ऐसे ही लोग सीमा उल्लंघन करने वाले हैं।-
And the family of Pharaoh picked him up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners.
Aakhir firaon kay logon ney iss bachay ko utha liya kay aakhir kaar yehi bacha inn ka dushman hua aur inn kay ranj ka baees bana kuch shak nahi kay firaon aur haamaan aur unn kay lashkar thay hi khata kaar.
अन्ततः फ़िरऔन के लोगों ने उसे उठा लिया, ताकि परिणामस्वरूप वह उन का शत्रु और उन के लिए दुख बने। निश्चय ही फ़िरऔन और हामान और उन की सेनाओं से बड़ी चूक हुई
And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded.
Aur jiss din qayamat barpa ho jayegi gunehgaar log qasmen khayen gay kay ( duniya mein ) aik ghari kay siwa nahi theray issi tarah yeh behkay huyey hi rahey.
जिस दिन वह घड़ी आ खड़ी होगी अपराधी क़सम खाएँगे कि वे घड़ी भर से अधिक नहीं ठहरें। इसी प्रकार वे उलटे फिरे चले जाते थे
Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals.
Hum gunehgaaro kay sath issi tarah kiya kertay hain.
हम अपराधियों के साथ ऐसा ही किया करते हैं
And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember.
Andha aur beena barabar nahi na woh log jo eman laye aur bhalay kaam kiyey bad-kaaron kay ( barabar hain ) tum ( boht ) kum naseehat hasil ker rahey ho.
अंधा और आँखों वाला बराबर नहीं होते, और वे लोग भी परस्पर बराबर नहीं होते जिन्होंने ईमान लाकर अच्छे कर्म किए, और न बुरे कर्म करने वाले ही परस्पर बराबर हो सकते हैं। तुम होश से काम थोड़े ही लेते हो!
Indeed I want you to obtain [thereby] my sin and your sin so you will be among the companions of the Fire. And that is the recompense of wrongdoers."
Mein to chahata hun kay tu mera gunah aur apney gunah apney sir rakh ley aur dozakhiyon mein shaamil hojaye zalimon ka yehi badla hai.
मैं चाहता हूँ कि मेरा और अपना गुनाह तुम ही ले लो फिर तुम आग वालों में शामिल हो जाओ, और यही सज़ा है ज़ुल्म करने वालों की।
And the overturned towns He hurled down
Aur motafiqa ( shehar ya utti hui bastiyon ko ) ussi ney ulat diya.
उलट जाने वाली बस्ती को भी फेंक दिया।
A preventer of good, transgressing and sinful,
Bhalaee say roknay wala had say barh janay wala gunehgaar.
भलाई से रोकता है, सीमा का उल्लंघन करने वाला, हक़ मारने वाला है,
None will eat it except the sinners.
Jissay ghunahgaron kay siwa koi nai kahey ga
"उसे ख़ताकारों (अपराधियों) के अतिरिक्त कोई नहीं खाता।"
