But when he saw their hands not reaching for it, he distrusted them and felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not. We have been sent to the people of Lot."
Abb jo dekha kay unn kay hath bhi uss ki taraf nahi phonch rahey to unn say ajnabiyat mehsoos ker kay dil hi dil mein unn say khof kerney lagay unhon ney kaha darro nahi hum to qom-e-loot ki taraf bhejay huye aaye hain.
फिर जब देखा कि उनके हाथ खाने की तरफ़ नहीं बढ़ रहे हैं तो खटक गए और दिल ही दिल में उन से डरे, उन्होंने कहा कि डरो नहीं हम लूत (अलै॰) की क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजे गए हैं।
And when the fright had left Abraham and the good tidings had reached him, he began to argue with Us concerning the people of Lot.
Jab ibrahim ka darr khof jata raha aur ussay bisharat bhi phonch chuki to hum say qom-e-loot kay baray mein kehney sunnay lagay.
फिर जब इब्राहीम (अलै॰) का ख़ौफ़ दूर हुआ और उनको ख़ुश-ख़बरी मिली तो वे हम से क़ौमे-लूत के बारे में बहस करने लगे।
And O my people, let not [your] dissension from me cause you to be struck by that similar to what struck the people of Noah or the people of Hud or the people of Salih. And the people of Lot are not from you far away.
Aur aey meri qom ( kay logo! ) kahin aisa na ho kay tum ko meri mukhalifat unn azabon ka mustahiq bana dey jo qom-e-nooh aur qom-e-hood aur qom-e-saleh ko phonchay hain. Aur qom-e-loot to tum say kuch door nahi.
और ऐ मेरी क़ौम ऐसा न हो कि मेरी ज़िद करके तुम पर वह आफ़त आ पड़े जो क़ौमे-नूह या क़ौमे-हूद या क़ौमे-सालेह पर आई थी, और लूत की क़ौम तो तुम से दूर भी नहीं।
Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all
Magar khaandan-e-loot kay hum unn sab ko to zaroor bacha len gay.
मगर लूत (अलै॰) के घर वाले कि हम उन सबको बचा लेंगे।
And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot
Aur qom-e-ibrahim aur qom-e-loot.
और इबराहीम की क़ौम और लूत की क़ौम
But the answer of his people was not except that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure."
Qom ka jawab ba-juz iss kehnay kay aur kuch na tha kay aal-e-loot ko apnay shehar say shahar badar kerdo yeh to baray pak baaz bann rahey hain.
परन्तु उस की क़ौम के लोगों का उत्तर इस के सिवा कुछ न था कि उन्होंने कहा, "निकाल बाहर करो लूत के घर वालों को अपनी बस्ती से। ये लोग सुथराई को बहुत पसन्द करते हैं!"
And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.
Aur samood ney aur qom-e-loot ney aur aeeka kay rehney walon ney bhi yehi ( baray ) lashkar thay.
और समूद और लूत की क़ौम और 'ऐकावाले' भी, ये हैं वे दल
And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot
Aur aad ney aur firaon ney aur biradran-e-loot ney.
आद, फ़िरऔन , लूत के भाई,
Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn
Be-shak hum ney unn per pathar barsaney wali hawa bheji siwaye loot ( alh-e-salam ) kay ghar walon kay waqt nijat deydi.
हम ने लूत के घर वालों के सिवा उन पर पथराव करने वाली तेज़ वायु भेजी।
Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter."
Allah Taalaa ney kafiron kay liye nooh ki aur loot ki biwi ki misal biyan farmaee yeh dono humaray bandon mein say do ( shaista aur ) nek bandon kay ghar mein thin phir unn ki enhon ney khayanat ki pus woh dono ( nek banday ) inn say Allah kay ( kissi azab ko ) na rok sakay aur hukum dey diya gaya ( aey aurton ) dozakh mein janey walon kay sath tum dono bhi chali jao.
अल्लाह ने इनकार करने वालों के लिए नूह की स्त्री और लूत की स्त्री की मिसाल पेश की है। वे हमारे बन्दों में से दो नेक बन्दों के अधीन थीं। किन्तु उन दोनों स्त्रियों ने उन से विश्वासघात किया तो अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में उन के कुछ काम न आ सके और कह दिया गया, "प्रवेश करने वालों के साथ दोनों आग में प्रविष्ट हो जाओ।"
