And [recall] when We saved your forefathers from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
Aur jab hum ney tumhen firaoniyon say nijat di jo tumhen bad tareen azab detay thay jo tumharay larkon ko maar daltay thay aur tumhari larkiyon ko chor detay thay uss nijat denay mein tumharay rab ki bari meharbani thi.
और जब हमने तुमको फ़िरऔन के लोगों से छुड़ाया, वे तुमको बुरी तकलीफ़ देते थे, तुम्हारे बेटों को ज़बह करते और तुम्हारी औरतों को ज़िंदा छोड़ देते, और उसमें तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से भारी आज़माइश थी।
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in penalty.
Jaisa aal-e-firaon ka haal hua aur unn ka jo inn say pehlay thay unhon ney humari aayaton ko jhutlaya phir Allah Taalaa ney bhi unhen unn kay gunahon per pakar liya aur Allah Taalaa sakht azab wala hai.
उनका अंजाम वैसा ही होगा जैसा फ़िरऔन वालों का और उनसे पहले वालों का हुआ, उन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया, उस पर अल्लाह ने उनके गुनाहों के बाइस उनको पकड़ लिया, और अल्लाह सख़्त सज़ा देने वाला है।
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, [who were] afflicting you with the worst torment - killing your sons and keeping your women alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
Aur qoh waqt yaad kero jab hum ney tum ko firaon walon say bacha liya jo tum ko bari sakht takleef phonchatay thay. Tumharay beton ko qatal ker daaltay thay aur tumhari aurton ko zinda chor detay thay aur iss mein tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say bari bhari aazmaeesh thi.
और जब हमने फ़िरऔन के लोगों से तुमको नजात दी जो तुमको सख़्त अज़ाब में डाले हुए थे कि तुम्हारे बेटों को क़त्ल करते और तुम्हारी औरतों को ज़िंदा रहने देते, और इसमें तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से बड़ी आज़माइश थी।
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah , so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty.
Misil friaoniyon kay haal kay aur unn say aglon kay, kay unhon ney Allah ki aayaton kay sath kufur kiya pus Allah ney unn kay gunahon kay baees unehn pakar liya. Allah Taalaa yaqeenan qooat wala aur sakht azab wala hai.
फ़िरऔन के लोगों की तरह और जो उनसे पहले थे, कि उन्होंने अल्लाह की निशानियों का इनकार किया पस अल्लाह ने उनके गुनाहों पर उनको पकड़ लिया, बेशक अल्लाह क़ुव्वत वाला, सख़्त सज़ा देने वाला है।
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers.
Misil halat firaoniyon kay aur unn say pehlay kay logon kay, kay unhon ney apney rab ki baaten jhutlaeen. Pus unn kay gunahon kay baees hum ney unhen barbaad kiya aur firaoniyon ko dobo diya. Yeh saray zalim thay.
फ़िरऔन के लोगों की तरह और जो उनसे पहले थे कि उन्होंने अपने रब की निशानियों को झुठलाया फिर हमने उनके गुनाहों की वजह से उनको हलाक कर दिया और हमने फ़िरऔन के लोगों को डुबो दिया और ये सब लोग ज़ालिम थे।
And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise."
Aur issi tarah tujhay tera perwerdigar bargazeedah keray ga aur tujhay moamla fehmi ( ya khuwabon ki tabeer ) bhi sikhaye ga aur apni nemat tujhay bharpoor ata farmaye ga aur yaqoob kay ghar walon ko bhi jaisay kay uss ney iss say pehlay teray dada aur per-dada yani ibrahim-o-ishaq ko bhi bhar poor apni nemat di yaqeenan tera rab boht baray ilm wala aur zabardast hikmat wala hai.
और इसी तरह तुम्हारा रब तुमको मुंतख़ब करेगा और तुमको बातों की हक़ीक़त तक पहुँचना सिखाएगा और तुम पर और आले-याक़ूब पर अपनी नेमत पूरी करेगा जिस तरह वह इससे पहले तुम्हारे बाप-दादा इब्राहीम और इसहाक़ (अलैहिमस्सलाम) पर अपनी नेमत पूरी कर चुका है, यक़ीनन तुम्हारा रब जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, "Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
Jiss waqt musa ney apni qom say kaha kay Allah kay woh ehsanaat yaad kero jo uss ney tum per kiye hain jabkay uss ney tumhen firaoniyon say nijat di jo tumhen baray dukh phonchatay thay. Tumharay larkon ko qatal kertay thay aut tumhari larkiyon ko zinda chortay thay iss mein tumharay rab ki taraf say tum per boht bari aamaeesh thi.
और जब मूसा (अलै॰) ने अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि अपने ऊपर अल्लाह के उस ईनाम को याद करो जबकि उसने तुमको फ़िरऔन की क़ौम से छुड़ाया जो तुमको सख़्त तकलीफ़ें पहुँचाते थे और वह तुम्हारे बेटों को मार डालते थे और तुम्हारी औरतों को ज़िंदा रहने देते थे, और उसमें तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से बड़ा इम्तिहान था।
Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]."
Jo mera bhi waris ho aur yaqoob ( alh-e-salam ) kay khandan ka bhi ja-nasheen aur meray rab! Tu ussay maqbool banda bana ley.
जो मेरा भी उत्तराधिकारी हो और याक़ूब के वंशज का भी उत्तराधिकारी हो। और उसे मेरे रब! वांछनीय बना।"
And a believing man from the family of Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, "Do you kill a man [merely] because he says, 'My Lord is Allah ' while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? And if he should be lying, then upon him is [the consequence of] his lie; but if he should be truthful, there will strike you some of what he promises you. Indeed, Allah does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar.
Aur aik momin shaks ney ji firaon kay khandan mein say tha aur apna eman chupaye huyey tha kaha kay kiya tum aik shaks ko mehaz iss baat per qatal kertay ho kay woh kehta hai kay mera rab Allah hai aur tumharay rab ki taraf say daleelen ley ker aaya hai agar woh jhoota ho to uss ka jhoot ussi per hai aur agar woh sacha ho to jiss ( azab ) ka woh tum say wada ker raha hai uss mein say kuch na kuch to tum per aa paray ga Allah Taalaa uss ki rehbari nahi kerta jo hadd say guzar janey walay aur jhootay hon.
फ़िरऔन के लोगों में से एक ईमान वाले व्यक्ति ने, जो अपने ईमान को छिपा रहा था, कहा, "क्या तुम एक ऐसे व्यक्ति को इसलिए मार डालोगे कि वह कहता है कि मेरा रब अल्लाह है और वह तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की ओर से खुले प्रमाण भी लेकर आया है? यदि वह झूठा है तो उस के झूठ का वबाल उसी पर पड़ेगा। किन्तु यदि वह सच्चा है तो जिस चीज़ की वह तुम्हें धमकी दे रहा है, उस में से कुछ न कुछ तो तुम पर पड़कर रहेगा। निश्चय ही अल्लाह उसको मार्ग नहीं दिखाता जो मर्यादाहीन, बड़ा झूठा हो
