[Jacob] said, "Never will I send him with you until you give me a promise by Allah that you will bring him [back] to me, unless you should be surrounded by enemies." And when they had given their promise, he said, " Allah , over what we say, is Witness."
Yaqoob ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha! Mein to issay hergiz hergiz tumharay sath nahi bhejon ga jabtak tum Allah ko beech mein rakh ker mujhay qol-o-qarar na do kay tum issay meray pass phoncha do gay siwaye uss aik soorat kay tum sab giriftaar ker liye jao. Jab enhon ney pakka qol-o-qarar dey diya to enhon ney kaha kay hum jo kuch kehtay hain Allah uss per nigehban hai.
याक़ूब (अलै॰) ने कहाः मैं उसको तुम्हारे साथ हरगिज़ न भेजूंगा जब तक तुम मुझसे अल्लाह के नाम पर यह अहद न करो कि तुम उसको ज़रूर मेरे पास ले आओगे सिवाए इसके कि तुम सब घिर जाओ, फिर जब उन्होंने उसको अपना पक्का क़ौल दे दिया तो उसने कहा कि जो कुछ हम कह रहे हैं उस पर अल्लाह निगहबान है।
But those who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.
Aur jo Allah kay ehad ko uss ki mazbooti kay baad tor detay hain aur jin cheezon kay jorney ka Allah ney hukum diya hai unhen tortay hain aur zamin mein fasad phelatay hain unn ki liye laanaten hain aur unn kay liye bura ghar hai.
और जो लोग अल्लाह के अहद को मज़बूत करने के बाद तोड़ते हैं और उसको काटते हैं जिसको अल्लाह ने जोड़ने का हुक्म दिया है और ज़मीन में फ़साद फैलाते हैं, ऐसे लोगों पर अल्लाह की लानत है और उनके लिए बुरा घर है।
And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have taken it, [O believers], and do not break oaths after their confirmation while you have made Allah , over you, a witness. Indeed, Allah knows what you do.
Aur Allah kay ehad ko poora kero jabkay tum aapas mein qol-o-qarar aur qasmon ko unn ki pukhtagi kay baad mat toro halankay tum Allah Taalaa ko apna zaamin thehra chukay ho tum jo kuch kertay ho Allah uss ko bakhoobi jaan raha hai.
और तुम अल्लाह के अहद को पूरा करो जबकि तुम आपस में अहद कर लो, और क़समों को पक्का करने के बाद उनको न तोड़ो; हालाँकि तुम अल्लाह को अपने ऊपर ज़ामिन भी बना चुके हो, बेशक अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम करते हो।
So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.' "
Abb chain say kha pi aur aankhen thandi rakh agar tujhay koi insan nazar parr jaye to keh dena kay mein ney Allah rehman kay naam ka roza maan rakha hai. Mein aaj kissi shaks say baat na keroon gi.
अतः तू उसे खा और पी और आँखें ठंडी कर। फिर यदि तू किसी आदमी को देखे तो कह देना, मैंने तो रहमान के लिए रोज़े की मन्नत मानी है। इसलिए मैं आज किसी मनुष्य से न बोलूँगी।"
Who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.
Jo log Allah Taalaa kay mazboot ehad ko tor detay hain aur Allah Taalaa ney jin cheezon kay jorney ka hukum diya hai unhen kaattay aur zamin mein fasaad phelatay hain yehi log nuksan uthaney walay hain.
जो अल्लाह के अहद को उसके बांधने के बाद तोड़ते हैं, और उस चीज़ को तोड़ते हैं जिसको अल्लाह ने जोड़ने का हुक्म दिया है और ज़मीन में बिगाड़ पैदा करते हैं, यही लोग नुक़सान उठाने वाले हैं।
He said, "My Lord, for the favor You bestowed upon me, I will never be an assistant to the criminals."
Kehnay lagay aey meray rab! Jesay tu ney mujh per yeh karam farmaya mein bhi abb hergiz kissi gunehgar ka madadgar na bano ga.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! जैसे तूने मुझ पर अनुकम्पा दर्शाई है, अब मैं भी कभी अपराधियों का सहायक नहीं बनूँगा।"
[Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
Jab imran ki biwi ney kaha aey meray rab! Meray pet mein jo kuch hai ussay mein ney teray naam azad kerney ki nazar maani tu meri taraf say qabool farma! Yaqeenan tu khoob sunney wala aur poori tarah janney wala hai.
जब इमरान की बीवी ने कहाः ऐ मेरे रब! मैंने मन्नत मानी आपके लिए कि जो औलाद मेरे पेट में है उसे आज़ाद रखा जाएगा, पस आप मेरी जानिब से क़बूल फ़रमा लें, बेशक आप सुनने वाले, जानने वाले हैं।
And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant.
Aur inn ka qol lenay kay liye hum ney inn kay saron per toor pahaar laa khara ker diya aur enhen hukum diya kay sajda kertay huye darwazay mein jao aur yeh bhi farmaya kay haftay kay din mein tajawuz na kerna aur hum ney inn say sakht say sakht qol-o-qarar liye.
और हमने ऊपर कोहे-तूर को उठाया उनसे अहद लेने के वास्ते और हमने उनसे कहा कि दरवाज़े में से दाख़िल हो सर झुकाए हुए और उनसे कहा कि सनीचर के मामले में ज़्यादती न करना, और हमने उनसे मज़बूत अहद लिया।
Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge?
Yea tum nay hum say kuch qasman li hain ?jo qzayamat tak baaqi rahen kay tumharay liye who sab hai jot um apni taraf say muqarrar kerlo.
या तुम ने हम से क़समें ले रखी हैं जो क़ियामत के दिन तक बाक़ी रहने वाली हैं कि तुम्हारे लिए वही कुछ है जो तुम फ़ैसला करो!
