That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
Yeh jamat to guzar chuki jo unhon ney kaha woh unn kay liye hai aur jo tum kero gay woh tumharay liye hai. Unn kay aemaal kay baray mein tum nahi poochay jao gay.
यह एक जमात थी जो गुज़र गई, उसको मिलेगा जो उसने कमाया और तुमको मिलेगा जो तुमने कमाया, और तुमसे उनके किए हुए की पूछ न होगी।
That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
Yeh ummat hai jo guzar chuki jo unhon ney kiya unn kay liye hai aur jo tum ney kiya tumharay liye tum unn kay aemaal kay baray mein sawal na kiye jao gay.
यह एक जमात थी जो गुज़र गई, उसको मिलेगा जो उसने कमाया और तुमको मिलेगा जो तुमने कमाया, और तुमसे उनके किए हुए की पूछ न होगी।
And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.
Tum mein say aik jamat aisi honi chahaiye jo bhalaee ki taraf bulaye aur nek kaamon ka hukum keray aur burray kaamon say rokay aur yehil log falah aur nijat paney walay hain.
और ज़रूरी है कि तुम में से एक गिरोह ऐसा हो जो नेकी की तरफ़ बुलाए, भलाई का हुक्म दे और बुराई से रोके, और ऐसे ही लोग कामयाब होंगे।
They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer].
Yeh saray kay saray yaksan nahi bulkay inn ehal-e-kitab mein aik jamat ( haq per ) qaeem rehney wali bhi hai jo raaton kay waqt bhi kalam ullah ki tilawat kertay hain aur sajday bhi kertay hain.
सब अहले-किताब एक जैसे नहीं, उनमें एक गिरोह अहद पर क़ायम है, वे रातों को अल्लाह की आयतें पढ़ते हैं और सज्दा करते हैं।
And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do.
Aur agar yeh log toraat aur injeel aur inn ki janib jo kuch Allah Taalaa ki taraf say nazil farmaya gaya hai inn kay pooray paband rehtay to yeh log apney upper say aur neechay say roziyan patay aur khatay aik jamat to inn mein say darmiyana ravish ki hai baqi inn mein say boht say logon kay buray aemaal hain.
और अगर वे तौरात और इंजील की पाबंदी करते और उसकी जो उन पर उनके रब की तरफ़ से उतारा गया है तो वे खाते अपने ऊपर से और अपने क़दमों के नीचे से, कुछ लोग उनमें से सीधी राह पर हैं लेकिन ज़्यादा लोग उनमें से ऐसे हैं जो बहुत बुरा कर रहे हैं।
[ Allah ] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire." Every time a nation enters, it will curse its sister until, when they have all overtaken one another therein, the last of them will say about the first of them "Our Lord, these had misled us, so give them a double punishment of the Fire. He will say, "For each is double, but you do not know."
Allah Taalaa farmaye ga jo firqay tum say pehlay guzar chukay hain jinnaat mein say bhi aur aadmiyon mein say bhi unn kay sath tum bhi dozakh mein jao. Jiss waqt bhi koi jamat dakhil hogi apni doosti jamat ko laanat keray gi yahan tak kay jab iss mein sab jama hojayen gay to pichlay log pehlay logon ki nisbat kahen gay kay humaray perwerdigar hum ko inn logon ney gumrah kiya tha so inn ko dozakh ka azab dugna dey. Allah Taala farmaye ga sab hi ka dugna hai lekin tum ko khabar nahi.
अल्लाह कहेगाः दाख़िल हो जाओ आग में जिन्नात और इंसानों के उन गिरोहों के साथ जो तुमसे पहले गुज़र चुके हैं, जब भी कोई गिरोह (जहन्नम में) दाख़िल होगा वह अपने साथी गिरोह पर लानत करेगा, यहाँ तक कि जब वे सब उसमें जमा हो जाएंगे तो उनके पिछले अपने अगलों के बारे में कहेंगे कि ऐ हमारे रब! यही लोग हैं जिन्होंने हमको गुमराह किया पस आप उनको आग का दोहरा अज़ाब दीजिए, अल्लाह कहेगा कि सबके लिए दोहरा है मगर तुम नहीं जानते।
And among the people of Moses is a community which guides by truth and by it establishes justice.
Aur qom-e-musa mein aik jamat aisi bhi hai jo haq kay mutabiq hidayat kerti hai aur issi kay mutabiq insaf bhi kerti hai.
और मूसा (अलै॰) की क़ौम में एक गिरोह ऐसा भी है जो हक़ के मुताबिक़ रहनुमाई करता है और उसी के मुताबिक़ इंसाफ़ करता है।
And when a community among them said, "Why do you advise [or warn] a people whom Allah is [about] to destroy or to punish with a severe punishment?" they [the advisors] said, "To be absolved before your Lord and perhaps they may fear Him."
Aur jab kay unn mein say aik jamat ney yun kaha kay tum aisay logon ko kiyon naseehat kertay ho jin ko Allah bilkul halak kerney wala hai ya unn ko sakht saza denay wala hai? Unhon ney jawab diya kay tumharay rab kay roo baroo uzur kerney kay liye aur iss liye kay shayad yeh darr jayen.
और जब उनमें से एक गिरोह ने कहा कि तुम ऐसे लोगों को क्यों नसीहत करते हो जिन्हें अल्लाह हलाक करने वाला है या उनको सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है, उन्होंने कहाः तुम्हारे रब के सामने इल्ज़ाम उतारने के लिए और इसलिए कि शायद वे डरें।
And among those We created is a community which guides by truth and thereby establishes justice.
Aur humari makhlooq mein aik jamat aisi bhi hai jo haq kay moafiq hidayat kerti hai aur uss kay moafiq insaf bhi kerti hai.
और हमारी मख़्लूक़ में एक जमात ऐसी भी है जो लोगों को हक़ का रास्ता दिखाती है और उसी हक़ के मुताबिक़ इंसाफ़ से काम लेती है।
And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ.
Aur uss aurat ki tarah na hojao jiss ney apna soot mazboot kaatney kay baad tukray tukray ker kay tor dala kay tum apni qasmon ko aapas kay makar ka baees thehrao iss liye kay aik giroh doosray giroh say barha charha jaye. Baat sirf yehi hai kay iss ehad say Allah tumhen aazma raha hai. Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa tumharay liye qayamt kay din her uss cheez ko khol ker biyan ker dey ga jiss mein tum ikhtilaf ker rahey thay.
और तुम उस औरत की मानिंद न बनो जिसने अपनी मेहनत से काता हुआ सूत टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके तोड़ दिया, तुम अपनी क़समों को आपस में फ़साद डालने का ज़रिया बनाते हो महज़ इस वजह से एक गिरोह दूसरे गिरोह से बढ़ जाए, अल्लाह इसके ज़रिए तुम्हारी आज़माइश करता है और वह क़यामत के दिन उस चीज़ को अच्छी तरह तुम पर ज़ाहिर कर देगा जिसमें तुम इख़्तिलाफ़ कर रहे हो।
