Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.
Maal-o-aulad to duniya ki hi zeenat hai aur ( haan ) albatta baqi rehney wali nekiyan teray rab kay nazdeek azrooy-e-sawab aur ( aaeenda ki ) achi tawaqqa kay boht behtar hain.
माल और बेटे तो केवल सांसारिक जीवन की शोभा है, जबकि बाक़ी रहने वाली नेकियाँ ही तुम्हारे रब के यहाँ परिणाम की दृष्टि से भी उत्तम है और आशा की दृष्टि से भी वही उत्तम है
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
Aur hum kissi na kissi tarah tumhari aazmaish zaroor keren gay dushman kay darr say bhook piyas say maal-o-jaan aur phalon ki kami say aur unn sabar kerney walon ko khushkhabri dey dijiye.
और हम ज़रूर तुमको आज़माएंगे कुछ डर और भूख से और मालों और जानों और फलों में कमी के ज़रिए, और साबित-क़दम रहने वालों को ख़ुश-ख़बरी दे दो।
Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children
Kiya yeh ( yun ) samajh bethay hain? Kay hum jo bhi inn kay maal-o-aulad barha rahey hain.
क्या वे समझते हैं कि हम जो उन की धन और सन्तान से सहायता किए जा रहे हैं,
Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
Kafiron ko unn kay maal aur unn ki aulad Allah kay haan kuch kaam na aayen gi yeh to jahannumi hain jo hamesha issi mein paray rahen gay.
बेशक जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया तो अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में उनके माल और औलाद उनके कुछ काम न आएंगे, और वे लोग दोज़ख़ वाले हैं वे उसमें हमेशा रहेंगे।
Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward.
Tumharay maal aur aulad to sirasir tumahri aazmaeesh hain aur boht bara ajar Allah kay pass hai.
तुम्हारे माल और तुम्हारी सन्तान तो केवल एक आज़माइश है, और अल्लाह ही है जिस के पास बड़ा प्रतिदान है
Because he is a possessor of wealth and children,
Us ski sirkashi sirf iss liye hai kay who maal wala aur beton wala hai.
इस कारण कि वह धन और बेटों वाला है
Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.
Nooh ( alh e salam ) ney kaha aey meray perwardigar!in logon ney meri to nafarmani ki aur aison ki farmanbardari ki jinkay maal o olaad ney inko ( yaqeenan ) nuksan hi mein barhaya hai
नूह ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! उन्होंने मेरी अवज्ञा की, और उस का अनुसरण किया जिस के धन और जिस की सन्तान ने उस के घाटे ही मे अभिवृद्धि की
And to whom I granted extensive wealth
Aur issy bohat sa maal dy rakha hay
और उसे माल दिया दूर तक फैला हुआ,
And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.
Aur tum iss baat ko jaan rakho kay tumharay amwaal aur tumhari aulad aik imtehan ki cheez hai. Aur iss baat ko bhi jaan rakho kay Allah Taalaa kay pass bara bhari ajar hai.
और जान लो कि तुम्हारे माल और तुम्हारी औलाद एक आज़माइश है, और यह कि अल्लाह ही के पास बड़ा अज्र है।
