In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
By the sun and its brightness
Qasam hai sooraj ki aur uski dhoop ki
साक्षी है सूर्य और उस की प्रभा,
And [by] the moon when it follows it
Qasam hai chand ki jab uskay peechay ay
और चन्द्रमा जबकि वह उस के पीछे आए,
And [by] the day when it displays it
Qasam hai din ki jab soraj ko numaya keray
और दिन, जबकि वह उसे प्रकट कर दे,
And [by] the night when it covers it
Qasam hai raat ki jab ussay dhanp lay
और रात, जबकि वह उसको ढाँक ले
And [by] the sky and He who constructed it
Qasam hai aasman ki aur uskay bananey ki
और आकाश और जैसा कुछ उसे उठाया,
And [by] the earth and He who spread it
Qasam hai zamen ki or ussy hamwar kernay ki
और धरती और जैसा कुछ उसे बिछाया
And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it
Qasam hai nafs ki or ussy durust bananey ki
और आत्मा और जैसा कुछ उसे सँवारा
And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,
phir samjh di usko badkari ki aur bach ker chalnay ki
फिर उस के दिल में डाली उस की बुराई और उस की परहेज़गारी
He has succeeded who purifies it,
Jiss nay ussay pak kiya wo kamyab hua
सफल हो गया जिस ने उसे विकसित किया
And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].
Aur jiss nay ussay khak mein mila diya wo nakam hoa
और असफल हुआ जिस ने उसे दबा दिया
Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,
( Qom ) samood nay apni sarkashi kay baees jhutlaya
समूद ने अपनी सरकशी से झुठलाया,
When the most wretched of them was sent forth.
Jab unka bara badbakht uth khara hoa
जब उन में का सबसे बड़ा दुर्भाग्यशाली उठ खड़ा हुआ,
And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."
Unhein Allah kay rassol nay farmadiya tha kay Allah Taalaa ki ontni aur uss kay peeenay ki bari ki ( hifazat karo )
तो अल्लाह के रसूल ने उन से कहा, "सावधान, अल्लाह की ऊँटनी और उस के पिलाने (की बारी) से।"
But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them].
Un logon nay apnay pyghamber ko jhota samjh ker uss ontni ki kochein kaat dein pus unkay rab nay unkay gunahon kay baees un per halakat dali aur phir halakat ko aam kerdiya aur uss basti ko barabar ker diya
किन्तु उन्होंने उसे झुठलाया और उस ऊँटनी की कूचें काट डाली। अन्ततः उन के रब ने उन के गुनाह के कारण उन पर तबाही डाल दी और उन्हें बराबर कर दिया
And He does not fear the consequence thereof.
Wo nahi darta uskay tabahkun anjam say
और उसे उस के परिणाम का कोई भय नहीं
